UAF, NOC, and NADC leaders discussed Ukraine Olympic team preparation for Paris 2024

The leadership of the Ukrainian Association of Football, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, and the National Anti-Doping Center convened to discuss key aspects of preparing the Ukrainian national football team for the 2024 Olympics.

With just 101 days remaining until the opening of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, National Olympic Committee president Vadym Huttsait orchestrated a crucial meeting regarding preparations for the Olympics. Attendees included Ukrainian Association of Football President Andriy Shevchenko, Vice President Oleksandr Shevchenko, and General Secretary Igor Gryshchenko.

The NOC, UAF, and NADC leadership deliberated on essential matters such as Olympic preparations, squad formation peculiarities, cooperation with the country's football clubs, training camps, adherence to anti-doping regulations, and logistical support for the team.

During the meeting, the UAF and NOC signed a memorandum of cooperation.

It's worth noting that last summer, after defeating France (3:1) in the quarterfinals of Euro 2023 (U-21) and securing a spot in the semifinals, the Ukrainian youth team achieved a historic success—earning the country's first-ever qualification for the football tournament at the Olympics.

Following the draw, Ruslan Rotan's wards found themselves in Group B alongside the national teams of Argentina, Morocco, and the third-placed Asian team.
