Ukraine national team defender Oleksandr Karavaev shared his impressions of the completion of the main team's preparation for the Euro 2024 playoff semifinal match against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On Wednesday, the Ukraine national team conducted a pre-match training session in Zenica at the "Bilino Polje" stadium. The completion of preparation for the match against Bosnia and Herzegovina was commented on by Ukraine's defender Oleksandr Karavaev.

"The feelings are only positive. We are very serious, even more than 100 percent. The grass is good to touch, fast. There are some areas... But we worked through all the exercises for today. Later in the evening, when dew starts forming, the field becomes even faster. And this is better for us because we love quick football. It's better to play on such a field than when it's dry. The weather conditions are normal — everything is good.

We know and feel that there is a million-strong army of our supporters watching us. We all together feel unity and await support. To say that the mood in the team is combative — this says nothing. Everyone is very serious, understands what the match will be like, and everyone is preparing." — said Oleksandr Karavaev.

Today it became known that Karavaev did not make the lineup for the Euro 2024 playoff semifinal match between Bosnia and Herzegovina — Ukraine, which will take place in Zenica and start at 8:45 PM local time (9:45 PM Kyiv time).
