Semi-defender of the Ukraine national team Oleksandr Pihalonyk shared his expectations for the upcoming match against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Euro 2024 playoff semifinals.

Coach Serhiy Rebrov's players are preparing for March matches in full strength. Semi-defender of the Ukraine national team Oleksandr Pihalonyk evaluated the team's readiness to play against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"I would evaluate our preparation as good. We had a practice match, there was a lot of theory involved, we worked hard during training sessions. There were both challenges and drops in performance. I believe we will approach the game in optimal condition."

"Bosnia is a very strong, tough team, like all Balkan teams. They will fight from start to finish, trying to qualify for Euro 2024. But if we put in our maximum effort in this match, everything should work out well for us. We need to focus on our own game. There's no underestimation at all; it will be a very difficult match," — said Oleksandr Pihalonyk.

Reminder, the Euro 2024 playoff semifinal match between Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Ukraine will take place on March 21 in Zenica city and start at 8:45 PM local time (9:45 PM Kyiv time).
