The qualification for the Women's Euro 2025 will take place from April to December of this year and will determine which 15 teams join hosts Switzerland.
As reported by the official UEFA website, the draw for Leagues A, B, and C will take place on Tuesday, March 5 (start at 14:00 Kyiv time). The final placement of teams in the leagues was determined after the League of Nations matches held in February. We remind you that Ukraine's national team played against Bulgaria in the play-offs. Blue-and-yellow twice defeated their opponents (4:0, 3:0) and extended their stay in Division B. According to the rating of the women's League of Nations, Ukrainians will be in the third pot during the draw.
League A
Pot 1: Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands.
Pot 2: England, Denmark, Italy, Austria.
Pot 3: Iceland, Belgium, Sweden, Norway.
Pot 4: Ireland, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic.
League B
Pot 1: Portugal, Switzerland, Scotland, Wales.
Pot 2: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary.
Pot 3: Slovakia, Northern Ireland, Ukraine, Turkey.
Pot 4: Malta, Israel, Kosovo, Azerbaijan.

Pot 4: Georgia, Moldova, Faroe Islands, Armenia.
The distribution of tickets for Euro 2025 will take place based on the results of the next league cycle. Teams play in groups of four or three (League C). The top eight teams in League A (first and second places) qualify directly to the final tournament, where they join host Switzerland.
Seven remaining spots will be contested in two rounds of playoffs. In the first round, teams finishing third and fourth in League A play against group winners and three best runners-up from League C. Eight winners advance to the second round.
In another path, four group winners and two best runners-up from League B will face off with the remaining two second-place finishers and four third-place finishers in League B. Six winners proceed to the second round.
In the second playoff round, 14 teams directly compete for seven spots at Euro 2025's final tournament, where a total of 16 participants are expected.
Paths in the playoffs will be adjusted as necessary to account for Switzerland’s participation in League B but its representation as host country at Euro.
If Switzerland finishes first, second or third in their group of League B, then the best fourth-placed team from that division will participate in the playoff.
At the same time, teams are also competing for positions in the next League of Nations cycle starting 2025-2027:
— winners and runners-up from groups in League A will remain in League A;
— second-place finishers, as well as the three best third-place finishers from groups in League B will stay in League B;
— second-, third- and fourth-placed teams from groups in League C will remain in League C;
— group winners from Leagues B and C will move up to the higher division;
— fourth-place finishers from groups in Leagues A and B, as well as the worst third-placed team in League B will drop down to a lower division.
