To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 on January 30, 2024 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred and sixth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

The Russian Federation continues to ignore laws and customs of war, uses tactics of terror, carries out missile and air strikes, conducts artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers not only on military but also on numerous civilian objects in our country.

During the past day, 70 combat engagements took place. The enemy carried out 10 missile strikes with S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles against the civilian infrastructure of Myronivka, Lisichansk Donetsk and Muzhikivka Kherson regions. Also, the opponent conducted 114 air raids and made 99 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers on our troops positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians. Residential private and multi-apartment buildings, schools, and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

During the night, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 35 strike drones of Shahed-136/131 type. With air defense forces and means, 15 enemy drones were destroyed.

Air raids affected Serednibuda Sumy region; Veliky Burluk, Khatne, Petro-Pavlivka, Pishchane, Berestove Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka, Novoyegorivka, Bihorivka, Serebryanske forest Luhansk region; Severodonetsk, Rozdolovka, Chasiv Yar, Klyschyvka, New York, Novobakhmutivka, Ocheretinе, Orlivka, Avdiivka, Georgiyivka, Novomikhailivka, Vodyane, StaroMayorivske Donetsk region; Mala Tokmachka Zaporizhzhia region; Shlyahove, Berislav, Kozatske Kherson region.

More than 130 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM «North» on Volynian and Polesian directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On Northern and Slobozhansky directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from moving into threatening directions, increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM «Khortytsia» on Kupyansk direction, seven enemy attacks were repelled near Synkivka and east of Pishchane Kharkiv region.

On Lysychansk direction Ukrainian warriors repelled four attacks by occupiers in the areas of Serebryanske forest Luhansk region and Terny Donetsk region.

On Bakhmut direction defense forces repelled three enemy attacks near Bogdanivka and Ivanivske Donetsk region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM «Tavria» on Avdiyivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiyivka. Our warriors firmly hold their defense, inflicting heavy losses on aggressors. Thus, during the past day, defense forces repelled 16 attacks by occupiers in the areas of Novobakhmutivka and Avdiyivka as well as eight attacks near Pervomayske and Nevelsk Donetsk region.

On Mariupol direction Ukrainian warriors continue to hold back the enemy near Georgiyivka, Victory and Novomikhailivka Donetsk region, where eight attacks were repelled.

On Shakhtarsk direction our defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the area of Zolotoe Niva Donetsk region.

On Zaporizhzhia direction Ukrainian warriors repelled two enemy attacks west of Verbovka and Robotino Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM «Odessa» on Kherson direction defense forces continue to take measures for expanding the foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not give up attempts to drive our units from occupied positions. Thus, during the past day, the enemy carried out eight unsuccessful assault operations.

At the same time, our warriors actively inflict casualties on occupation troops in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

During the past day, aviation of defense forces inflicted strikes on 20 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment as well as two air defense missile complexes of the enemy.

Subunits of rocket troops delivered strikes against two anti-aircraft defense means, four artillery systems and a radio-electronic combat station of the enemy.
