To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 on January 27, 2024 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The seventh hundred and third day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the past day, there were 98 combat engagements. The enemy carried out eight missile strikes with S-300 air defense guided missiles on civilian infrastructure in Myronivskyi, Novohrodivka of Donetsk region and Antonivka of Kherson region. In addition, the occupiers delivered four aviation strikes and conducted 78 artillery attacks from multiple rocket launchers against our troops' positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians. Multi-story buildings, private homes, schools, kindergartens, shopping centers, and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

During the past day, Russian occupiers carried out another aviation strike using four Shahed-136/131 attack drones. All attacking drones were destroyed by Ukraine's air defense forces.

In the morning, Russian occupiers hit civilian infrastructure in Sloviansk city of Donetsk region with a ballistic missile "Iskander."

Over 120 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on Volyn and Polesie fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi fronts the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening directions, increases mine-explosive barriers along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on Kupyansk front, our defenders repelled 13 enemy attacks near Tabayivka, Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk region.

On the Lyman front Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight attacks by occupiers around Terny and Torisky of Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut front defensive forces repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Bogdanivka, Ivanivske, Klyshchyivka and Andriyivka of Donetsk region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting heavy losses on occupiers. Thus, defensive forces repelled 20 attacks by aggressors near Novobakhmutivka, Stepanovoye, Avdiivka and nine more attacks in the areas of Opitne, Vodyane, Pervomaiskoye and Nevelskoye of Donetsk region during the past day.

On the Mariupol front defensive forces continue to hold back the enemy near Georgiyivka, Victory and Novomykhailivka of Donetsk region where 14 attacks were repelled.

On the Shakhtarsk front our defenders repelled an attack by occupiers in the area of Zolotoy Niva of Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia front Ukrainian soldiers repelled six enemy attacks north of Pryutne, south of Red, west of Verbove and Robotino of Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on Kherson front, defensive forces continue to expand their foothold. Despite heavy losses, the enemy does not give up attempts to drive our units from occupied positions. During the past day, the enemy carried out four unsuccessful assaults on Ukrainian troops' positions.

At the same time, our soldiers actively inflict casualties in manpower and equipment on occupying forces along the entire front line.

Estimated losses of the enemy during the past day amounted to: 770 occupiers, six tanks, fifteen armored combat vehicles, three artillery systems, four operational-tactical level drones, eight cars and eight units of special equipment.
