The commander of the military unit where the center operates, Lieutenant Colonel Taras Sheremet, expressed gratitude and presented awards to everyone who supported the center, including the representative of the Ukrainian Football Association, for their help and important partnership in restoring wounded soldiers.

To commemorate the meeting and the involvement of Ukraine's football community in a new significant direction of support for soldiers, Vadim Kostyuchenko presented military personnel with an autographed national team jersey from Oleksandr Zinchenko, who is also an ambassador of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s platform "United24."

"Last month, we established our partnership with the military rehabilitation center and are honored to introduce a new direction of support for soldiers undergoing treatment after severe injuries. The UFA will help set up football fields at this and three other rehabilitation centers. In addition, we organize training for coaches who will work with patients in the centers, provide necessary football equipment, and in the future plan to organize a tournament where defenders from all four facilities will participate. This is the least we can do for our heroes. It's especially pleasant to receive an award from military personnel on International Volunteer Day. The UFA and national team actively support volunteer missions within the United24 platform, initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky, aimed at raising funds for Ukraine’s recovery," — Vadim Kostyuchenko summarized.

As of today, nearly 230 military personnel are already undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in the center, which opened this year. It is planned that a total of about 400 soldiers will be rehabilitated here. We sincerely wish each one a speedy recovery and successful rehabilitation!
