Announcement of the Ukrainian women's national team roster for League of Nations matches against Poland and Serbia

On December 1st and 5th, the women's national team of Ukraine will play their final two matches in the group stage of the inaugural UEFA Nations League tournament.

Match 5 of the Ukraine — Poland round will take place on December 1 at the "Stal" stadium in the Polish city of Stalowa Wola (kickoff at 7 PM Kyiv time). And the match of the 6th round Serbia — Ukraine will be held on December 5 in the Serbian town of Sremska Mitrovica at the central football training ground of the national teams (Stadion Sports Center of FA of Serbia). Kickoff is at 8 PM Kyiv time.

To prepare for these matches, head coach of Ukraine's women's team Volodymyr Pyatenko has called up 23 players, reports the official website of the Ukrainian Women's Football Association. The team will assemble in Lviv on the evening of November 25, immediately after the final match of the Ukrainian Cup. The next day, the delegation will travel to the city of Rzeszów (Poland), where the training camp will take place.

How will the matches in groups take place?

All group stage matches will be played according to the usual format — home and away against each opponent in the group. Three points will be awarded for a win, one point for a draw, and no points for a loss.

Who will qualify? Who will play in the playoffs?

League A

The top two teams in each group remain in League A for qualification to the UEFA Women's Euro 2025.

Four teams that finish third will play against second-placed teams from League B. Winners of these matches will qualify for League A; teams that lose will drop down to League B.

Teams finishing fourth will be relegated to League B.

League B

The top four teams in each group will move up to League A.

Four teams that finish second will play against third-placed teams from League A. Winners of these matches will qualify for League A; teams that lose will drop down to League B.

The top three teams finishing third will play against the top three teams finishing second in League C. Winners will remain in League B for qualification to the UEFA Women's Euro 2025; losing teams will be relegated to League C.

The team with the lowest ranking among those that finish third and four teams that finish fourth will drop down to League C.

League C

Five winners of each group will move up to League B.

The top three teams finishing second will play against the top three teams finishing third in League B. Winners will remain in League B for qualification to the UEFA Women's Euro 2025; losing teams will drop down to League C.

Other teams will stay in League C.

Matches for promotion/relegation

Pairs are drawn by lot, and matches are played home and away. Teams that finish third in their groups are seeded and play the return leg at home.
