To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00 on November 3, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred and eighteenth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

The Russian Federation continues to ignore laws and customs of war, employs tactics of terror, carries out missile and air strikes, and shelled numerous civilian objects as well as military targets in our country with multiple rocket launchers.

During the past day, 50 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out seven missile and seventy air strikes, conducted ninety-three attacks with multiple rocket launcher systems on positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

In addition, during the night of November 3, Russian occupiers carried out another attack on Ukraine using thirty-eight Shahed-136/131 combat drones and one guided air-to-surface missile X-59. Air defense forces destroyed twenty-four combat drones and one X-59 missile. Information about the consequences of this terrorist attack is being verified.

Air strikes were carried out in Mogrytsi, Sumy Oblast; Petrovka, Kurilivka, Pyskanoe, Kharkiv Oblast; Seredynsky Forest District, Luhansk Oblast; Viimykha, Spirene, Klyshchivka, Pivdenne, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Sukhyi Yal, Vodyane, Staromayorske, Donetsk Oblast; Novodarivka, Novodanilivka, Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Respublikants, Antonivka, Novokayir, Pridniprovske, Tyaginka, Kherson Oblast.

More than one hundred populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts came under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on the Volynian and Polesian directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening sectors, increases mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in Belgorod Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Hortytsia" on the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions around the populated areas of Synkivka, Petrovka, Ivanivka in Kharkiv Oblast, where our defenders repelled nearly ten attacks by the enemy.

On the Lysychansk direction, the enemy did not carry out offensive (assault) actions.

On the Bakhmut direction, occupiers unsuccessfully attempted to restore lost positions in the areas of Klyshchivka and Andriyivka. Here, our defenders repelled nearly ten attacks. Also, the enemy carried out unsuccessful assault actions near Pivdenne in Donetsk Oblast. At the same time, the Forces of Defense of Ukraine continue offensive operations south of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, consolidating on gained positions.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on the Avdiivka direction, the enemy does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka with air support, but our soldiers firmly hold their defense and inflict significant losses on the enemy. Unsuccessful were offensive actions by occupiers near populated areas of Stepanovka, Tonikha, Severne, Perevomayske in Donetsk Oblast. Here, the Forces of Defense repelled nearly ten attacks by the enemy.

On the Mariupol direction, aggressors carried out unsuccessful assault actions around Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast, where Ukrainian soldiers repelled over twenty attacks.

On the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful assault actions near Prichystyvka and Staromayorske in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to restore lost positions near Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

At the same time, the Forces of Defense of Ukraine continue conducting offensive operations on the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on occupiers in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on the Kherson direction, our soldiers conduct counter-battery fire, inflict artillery strikes on the rear areas of the enemy.

During the day, aviation of the Forces of Defense carried out thirteen strikes against areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and two — against anti-aircraft missile complexes of the enemy.

Subunits of rocket forces inflicted damage on a command post, four areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a radio-electronic station, an ammunition depot, eight artillery systems, as well as other important targets of the enemy.
