Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00 on November 1, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred and sixteenth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

The Russian Federation continues to ignore laws and customs of war, employs tactics of terror, carries out missile and air strikes, and shells with multiple rocket launchers not only military targets but also numerous civilian objects in our country.

Over the past day, 68 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out 8 missile and 97 air strikes, conducted 84 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launchers on positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged or destroyed. Additionally, in the night, Russian occupiers carried out another missile-air strike on Ukraine, using guided air-launched missiles X-59 and 20 combat drones of type "Shahed-136/131". Air defense forces destroyed 1 missile and 18 combat drones. Information about the consequences of this terrorist attack is being clarified.

Air strikes were carried out on: Pyskan, Novosergiyivka, Chernenkha, Synykhivka, Petro-Pavlivka, Podol Kharkiv region; Seredynskiy forest management, Makieyivka Luhansk region; Verkhnyokamyanske, Oleksandropil, Orlyvka, Spirene, Novobahmutivka, Ocheretin, Avdiyivka, Lastochkine, Kostiantynivka, Veseloye Hray, Hannivka, Novomykhailivka Donetsk region; Maliyivka, Novodanylivka Zaporizhzhya region; Urozhayne, Mykolyske, Ivanivka, Berislav, Kozatske, Sadove, Tyagynka, Lvov, Kherson region.

More than 140 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North"  on Volyn and Polesie directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On Severnyi and Slobozhanskyi directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening sectors, increases mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia"  on Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near the populated areas of Synykhivka, Ivanivka Kharkiv region and Nadya Luhansk region, where our defenders repelled more than 10 attacks by the enemy.

On Lyman direction, the enemy did not carry out offensive (assault) actions.

On Bakhmut direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore lost positions near Klyshchyivka and Andriyivka, where our defenders repelled 5 attacks by occupiers. Also, the enemy carried out unsuccessful assault actions in the southern part of Donetsk region. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue offensive operations south of Bakhmut, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, consolidating on gained positions.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavriya" on Avdiyivka direction, the enemy does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiyivka. To support their troops, they use aviation. Our soldiers firmly hold the defense and inflict significant losses on the enemy. Thus, unsuccessful were offensive actions by aggressors in the areas of populated places such as Avdiyivka, Keramik, Severne, Pereymayske, Stepole Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled nearly 20 attacks.

On Mariupol direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful assault actions in the areas of Mariupol and Novomykhailivka Donetsk region. Here Ukrainian soldiers repelled over 20 attacks by occupiers.

On Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful assault actions near Prichystyvka and Zolotoye Niva Donetsk region.

On Zaporizhzhya direction, the enemy attempted to restore lost positions in the area of Robotino Zaporizhzhya region, without success.

At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue conducting offensive operations on Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on occupation troops in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odesa" on Kherson direction, forces of defense conduct counter-battery battles, causing fire damage to the rear areas of the enemy.

Over the past day, aviation of the Armed Forces carried out 15 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, weapons and military hardware, 1 — on command posts and 2 — on air defense missile complexes of the enemy.

Subunits of rocket troops inflicted damage to 3 radar stations, 2 ammunition depots, 1 area of concentration of personnel and equipment, weapons and military hardware, as well as 8 artillery systems of the enemy.
