President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about preparations for important steps planned for the first weeks of November and emphasizing the need to never forget how many people are working hard to defend our country.

"I wish health to all Ukrainians!

First. There is good news following the meeting in Malta — a meeting of representatives regarding the Peace Formula. A statement was agreed upon — a basic and unifying one. This is the right signal. No matter what happens in the world, the main thing is unity for the sake of real international law, because this is unity for justice for Ukraine and all countries and nations that may face aggression.

Secondly. We are already preparing for important steps planned for the first weeks of November. In general, this November and December should be significant for Ukraine. This includes new defense packages, development of our relations with the European Union, by the way. We are also preparing international events scheduled to take place in Ukraine. Our work with partners will remain active.

And thirdly — this is our gratitude. It's important never to forget how many people — different kinds of people — are working hard to defend our country and Ukrainians, to preserve Ukraine, the stability of our state, our society, and each one of us. Today alone, Russian occupiers inflicted harsh strikes on our Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions. There were also missiles and drones. I thank all our PPO soldiers! Thank you to everyone in security and defense forces of Ukraine! And especially today, I want to highlight those people — in various regions of Ukraine — who despite all difficulties arrive at any time of day or night to the sites of shelling, eliminate the consequences of strikes, clear debris, demine territory, extinguish fires, rescue people, document Russian terror. These are all our DSNS workers, all our doctors, emergency service personnel, communal workers, our volunteers, our police officers, investigators and criminologists, prosecutors, our sappers, and bomb disposal experts. Everyone who helps. I thank you!

Individually, I want to thank everyone in the DSNS of Ukraine in Kherson Oblast, especially those working in Berislav city and other towns and villages that are constantly targeted by occupiers.
