In the third round of the UEFA Youth League group stage, Donetsk Shakhtar U-19 suffered a defeat against their peers from Barcelona.

The miners started the tournament with a loss to Porto (1:4), and then secured an away victory over Antwerp (2:1). Today, Oleksiy Belik's wards faced Barcelona.

The Spaniards took the lead after Noa Darvich scored in the 15th minute. 1:0. This score held until five minutes before the end of regular time when Juan Hernández doubled their advantage. In the end, it was 2:0 in favor of the Catalans.

The next UEFA Youth League match for the orange and black will be on November 7th against Barcelona again in Nordstadt.
