Today, the Ukraine U-19 youth team (football players born in 2005 or later) played their third match at an international tournament in South Korea.

Today, the Ukraine U-19 football team (players born in or after 2005) played their third match at an international tournament in South Korea.
In the opening round, Oleksandr Kuznetsov's wards lost to the hosts (2:4), after which they defeated Vietnam's team (3:2).
In their third and final match, the blue-and-yellow team faced Morocco. After falling behind 0-2 in the first half, Ukrainian footballers managed to turn the tide and won—4:3. The brace was scored by Dynamo Kyiv forward Matviy Ponomarenko. His teammates Nazar Balaba and Taras Mikhavko also found the back of the net.

As a reminder, from November 15 to 21, this Ukrainian youth team will play in the qualifying round of Euro-2024 (U-19). Based on the results of the draw, they will face Slovakia, Kosovo, and Malta (the host).
