To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10.00 on September 14, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred and eightieth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Russian occupiers continue to ignore international humanitarian law, conducting not only attacks on Ukrainian positions but also strikes on civilian infrastructure in populated areas, terrorizing peaceful residents.

Last night, the occupiers attacked Ukraine using 22 kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/131 type, of which 17 were destroyed by air defense systems of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

During the past day, there were 29 combat engagements. The enemy carried out two missile and ninety-two aerial strikes, conducted forty-two artillery attacks on both our positions and civilian objects in our country. According to updated information, yesterday the occupiers attacked Ukraine with forty-seven kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/131 type, thirty-five of which were destroyed by air defense systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among civilians. Port infrastructure, private residential buildings, and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged.

Aerial strikes hit populated areas of Morokhovets, Plytenivka, Petro-Pavlivka, Kyslyvka, Kharkiv Oblast; Stepok, Sumy Oblast; Novoselivske, Novoye Yegorivka, Bihorivka, Luhansk Oblast; Severodonetsk, Spirne, Kurdyumivka, Klitshiyivka, Krasnogorivka, New York, Donetsk Oblast; Robotyne, Zapasne, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Otradkamyanka, Pridniprovsk, Kherson Oblast.

Artillery fire affected nearly 100 populated areas in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to defend on the east and south of Ukraine, conduct offensive operations on the Melitopol direction, and carry out offensive actions on the Bakhmut direction, destroying the enemy step by step, liberating temporarily occupied territories, and consolidating their positions.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "North" on the Volynian and Polesian directions, the situation remains unchanged.

In the North-Eastern and Slobozhansky directions the enemy continues to maintain cover forces along the state border, conducts active sabotage activities in border areas with the aim of preventing our troops from moving into threatening sectors, increases mine-explosive barriers along the state border in Belgorod Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Hortytsia" on the Kupyansk and Bakhmut directions, the enemy does not give up attempts to break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in areas north-east of Berestove, Kharkiv Oblast, Bihorivka, Luhansk Oblast, and Bogdanivka, Donetsk Oblast. In turn, our defenders had partial success in areas around Bakhmut, Klitshiyivka, Andriyivka, and Kurdyumivka, Donetsk Oblast, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Tavria" our defenders firmly hold Mariinka's defense, where over the past day the enemy made fourteen unsuccessful attempts to drive our units from their positions. In addition, all attacks in areas around Mala Tokmachka and Verbovka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, turned out to be significant losses for occupiers both in manpower and equipment. At the same time on Avdiyivka, Mariinka, and Shakhtarsk directions, our defenders continue to maintain initiative, pressuring the enemy, conducting assault actions, and liberating our land.

In the Melitopol direction our defenders continue offensive operations, inflicting significant losses on occupying forces in manpower and equipment.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Odessa" on the Kherson direction, our defenders continue to conduct counter-battery fire, destroying depots and successfully targeting enemy rear areas.

During the past day, aviation of the Defense Forces carried out twelve strikes on areas with personnel equipment and weapons of the enemy and two — on anti-aircraft missile complexes.

Subunits of rocket troops, artillery, and unmanned systems targeted command posts of Russian occupiers, an anti-aircraft missile complex, a concentration area for personnel equipment, weapons, and military hardware of Russian aggressors, fifteen artillery units, two ammunition depots, and a radio-electronic warfare station.

Estimated enemy losses over the past day amounted to: 620 occupiers, 15 tanks, 18 armored combat vehicles, 42 artillery systems, three MLRS, 47 tactical drones, one ship, one submarine, fourteen vehicles and five units of special equipment.
