President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, announcing significant budget allocations for the defense industry next year and a meeting regarding the integration of our state with the European Union and NATO.

"I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!

It was a weighty day. The military cabinet - such were the details that we cannot speak about now but will be very effective in the war.

I held a meeting with Prime Minister Shmygal and Finance Minister Marchenko regarding next year's budget.

Outlined the main parameters - what should be priorities in the state budget.

The most important thing is to protect our country and people. Defense and security are the first priority, and defense funding will at least be on par with this year, that is, one trillion six hundred billion hryvnia. At least!

Next year we add significant budget funds for the defense industry - for weapons production in Ukraine. And for drones. Both for purchasing what is needed abroad and for Ukrainian production. Plus almost 100 billion hryvnia targeted at weapon production, which is overseen by the Ministry of Strategic Industries, and on a Ukrainian drone army that shows very good, bright results. I will support all this.

A separate budget priority - supporting our veterans.

We maintain social spending as a priority. At least 469 billion hryvnia. There will be additional funds for the health care system - at least an additional 24 billion to this year's expenditures. There will also be additional funding for education, primarily to support teachers and lecturers.

We allocate necessary funds for digitalization, including our "Dream" - a new tool for children, parents, and teachers that we have already presented in advance. Next year "Dream" is set to fully operate and become available to Ukrainians around the world!

Of course, there will be a significant pension indexation - planned for March as stipulated by law.

But in addition to all this, we are making a very important economic focus in the budget. We add economic stimulation - production, jobs, investments. What is needed so that Ukraine can recover faster.

Government officials present details of such stimulation. This includes connecting investors to electricity networks, extending grant programs and mortgage programs, developing Ukrainian industrial parks.

I tasked the Prime Minister with preparing a basis for increasing the minimum wage in Ukraine in the first half of next year.

Absolutely all elements of state work must be set up so that we can here, in Ukraine, outline the end date of this war. Our victory. Our weapons that will achieve all necessary goals for Ukraine. Our economy that can provide Ukrainians with needed jobs. Social functions of the state that should be fulfilled. State functionality, primarily digital functionality, which needs to become more modern than anywhere in Europe. All this - our tools to bring Ukraine's victory closer.

And our cooperation with our partners - all around the world who are interested in peace alongside us.

I held a meeting today regarding the integration of our state with the European Union and NATO. Another long meeting, about preparing for talks with partners, various ones: with "The Big Seven," with the Global South. All this will happen.

One more thing. I want to thank, as always, our soldiers. Today especially - our pilots. Well done, boys! We are all proud of you.

I thank everyone who fights and works for Ukraine! All those now in battle, on combat posts, on combat missions. I thank everyone who trains our fighters, who produces weapons for Ukraine, who finds everything needed by Ukraine around the world. Thank you all!

Glory to Ukraine!
