President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about a new package of defensive support from Germany and a meeting with representatives of law enforcement.

"I wish good health to all Ukrainians,

There is good news today: we are preparing to strengthen the package of defensive support from Germany. MANPADS, artillery, equipment. What was agreed upon with Chancellor Scholz. What we discussed today with German Foreign Minister Baerbock – she paid a visit to Ukraine and I met with her in Kyiv today. It is very important that our partners hear the needs of our state, our soldiers, and the protection of our energy infrastructure. I am confident – there will be results.

We are also moving forward with other partners as well, particularly regarding MANPADS. Additional systems will be in Ukraine.

I held several important meetings today. Notably, a meeting with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov, First Deputy Minister Pavlyuk and Vice Prime Minister Fedorov on ensuring our soldiers are supplied, transparency of this supply. The specific needs of our combat brigades – they must be supplied as quickly as possible, and all accounting must be digitized for that purpose. In general, there should be much less paper work in the military, and there definitely shouldn't be a difference between what is reported here at headquarters and what is actually needed by the boys on 'the front line'. The Ministry of Defense is now relaunching its accounting system, with digitalization ministry assistance.

I also held today a meeting with representatives of law enforcement. Clearly, Ukraine needs more progress in protecting public interests. In protecting from those who place their own wallets above societal norms and rules. Above even war. There will be new steps by the state.

And one more thing.

Today since early morning, various Ukrainian cities and regions have been hit by Russian strikes. Nikopol – harsh Russian shelling, artillery. Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region, Kherson and other cities and villages of the Kherson region, Pologi district of Zaporizhzhia region. Donetsk. Pokrovsky district, Bakhmutsky, Volnovasky and others. Kharkiv region. Chernihiv region, Sumy region. Kryvyi Rih – a missile strike. Another drone attack. While part of our country's territory is quiet and relatively calm, we must always remember that land, those cities and villages which are almost constantly under fire.

Although today marks 565 days since the start of this war, all of us in Ukraine, each and every one of us, must remain focused on defending our country just as we were at the beginning. Russia does not expect to win. The enemy only hopes that we will not hold out. Ukraine must endure. Everything that strengthens us – is a priority. And only that – is a priority.

No weakening! And no one will be allowed to weaken Ukraine.
