Main coach of Ukraine's U-18 team U-18 Yuriy Moroz talked about his plans for the upcoming training camp.

Today, September 3rd, the youth national team of Ukraine (players born in 2006) departed by bus from Kyiv to Lviv, where they will travel further to the Czech Republic to participate in the traditional Václav Jezek international tournament.

The day before, head coach Yuriy Moroz shared his expectations for this training camp.

“This year's camp I see as an evaluation of candidates for the national team,” said Yuriy Leonidovich. “Boys have grown a bit, they play in their clubs. New people are appearing. We want to test new schemes and see the level of performers on the international stage.”

“Have you managed to invite all the strongest players at this moment?"

“Considering the situation in our country, I think so. We prioritized those boys who have the most playing experience.”

“Have you studied your future tournament opponents — will you play as they say, from a sheet?"

“There is very little information about the opponents. We have some idea but we will get to know our rivals better during the matches.”

“Due to the war, many Ukrainian footballers went abroad. Are there any candidates for the national team that you are following but currently do not have at your disposal?"

“Of course. The main thing is that these boys should have playing experience in their clubs, then they will definitely have a chance to play for the national team.”
