To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 28, 2023, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred and fiftieth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out another missile strike on Ukrainian territory. Four cruise missiles were destroyed by anti-aircraft defense systems.

Overall, during the past day, the enemy launched 11 missile and 48 air strikes, conducted 54 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers against our troops' positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there were casualties among civilians. Residential buildings, schools, and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

There were 34 combat engagements during the day.

On the Volynian and Polesian fronts, the operational situation — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky fronts, the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Volfino, Sumy region, and Okhtyrka, Kharkiv region. The enemy conducted mortar and artillery shelling of more than 30 populated areas. This includes Hrynyvka, Klyusi, Lyskyshchyna, Gremyach, Kamyan Chernihiv region; Khodine, Kostenkivka, Turia, Novodmytrivka, Grabovske, Velyka Pysarivka Sumy region and Veterinarnoe, Krasnoe, Ogirevne, Budarki, Kolodyazhne Kharkiv region.

On the Kupiansky front, the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Nadiia and Tverdohlibove Luhansk region. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy affected populated areas such as Kamianka, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kislivka, Berestove Kharkiv region.

On the Lyman front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Novoyegeorivka Luhansk region. Over 10 populated areas were shelled by artillery fire from the enemy, including Karazinivka, Nevskoie, Chervonopopivka, Kryminka, Bihorivka Luhansk region and Torske, Dibrova, Spirene, Rozdolivka Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Klyschyvky Donetsk region. Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery fire, including Minkivka, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Mykolayivka, Klyschyvky, Kurdyumivka Donetsk region.

On the Avdiivsky front, over 10 populated areas were shelled by enemy artillery fire, including Ocheretinove, Stepole, Avdiivka, Severne, Perevomayskoe, Nevelske Donetsk region.

On the Mariupol front, defensive forces continue to hold back Russian troops in the area of Mariupol Donetsk region. The enemy carried out an air strike in the area of Krasnogorivka Donetsk region. Artillery shelling affected populated areas such as Krasnogorivka, Gostre, Mariupol, Katerynovka, Paraskoviyivka, Novomikhailivka Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsky front, the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Zolotoe Niva and Staro-Majorskoe Donetsk region. Populated areas such as Bogoyavlenske, Shakhterske, Vremivka, Staro-Majorske, Rivnopil Donetsk region suffered from artillery fire by the enemy.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Robotino and Novodanylivka Zaporizhzhia region. Over 25 populated areas suffered from artillery fire by the enemy, including Malynivka, Charyvne, Shcherbaki, Stepole, Lukianovske Zaporizhzhia region.

On the Kherson front, the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Mykolayivka, Mikhilske and Antonivka Kherson region. Over 15 populated areas suffered from artillery fire by the enemy, including Berislov, Mykolayivka, Lvov, Molodyzhne, Dniprovsk and Berehove Kherson region.

At the same time, Ukrainian defensive forces continue to conduct offensive operations on the Melitopol front, consolidate on gained lines, and carry out counter-battery measures.

The aviation of the defensive forces carried out 10 strikes in areas of enemy personnel concentration and one strike against an enemy air defense missile complex during the past day.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage on one ammunition depot, two radio-electronic warfare stations, and four artillery systems of the enemy on firing positions over the past day.

Estimated losses of the enemy during the past day amounted to: 490 occupiers, four tanks, eight armored combat vehicles, twenty-two artillery systems, two MLRS, one air defense system, five tactical drones, four cruise missiles, twelve vehicles and one unit of special equipment.
