Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and thirty-third day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against our state has begun.

Forces defending Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations on the Bakhmut, Melitopol, and Berdyansk axes.

On the Bakhmut axis, Ukrainian soldiers continue to carry out offensive actions south of the city of Bakhmut. In the direction of Urozhainoye, south and southeast of Staromayorskoye, they achieved partial success and consolidated on the lines they reached.

Yesterday, 30 combat encounters took place.

During yesterday's period, the enemy carried out three missile strikes and 50 air raids, conducted 59 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers on our positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there were casualties among civilians, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across the territory of Ukraine remains high.

On the Volyn and Polissya axes, the operational situation — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi axes, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 40 populated areas, including Khrynyvka, Semenivka, Buzhki, Yasna Polyana in Chernihiv Oblast; Znoba-Novgorodskoye, Bunyakine, Volfin, Stepok, Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy Oblast and Chervona Zoria, Mali Prohody, Hativshche, Varvarivka, Rublene and Otradne on Kharkiv's territory.

On the Kupyansk axis, our defenders successfully repelled Russian army attacks in the area north of Synykhivka and northeast of Ivanivka in Kharkiv Oblast. Over 10 populated areas suffered artillery and mortar shelling from the enemy, including Dvorichna, Masutivka, Petro-Pavlivka, Kucherivka, Kislyvka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lysychansk axis, the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Bakhmutovka in Luhansk Oblast and Spirene and Veseloye in Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling from the enemy affected populated places such as Nevske, Bakhmutovka in Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spiresne, Rozdolyvka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut axis, our soldiers firmly hold the defense, successfully repelling enemy attacks near Klyshchyivka and northeast of Druzhba in Donetsk Oblast. The enemy carried out an air strike in the area of Klyshchyivka. Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Malynivka, Markove, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Bila Hora and Pleschevivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiyivka axis, under intense air and artillery fire from the enemy, our defenders successfully repelled attacks near Avdiyivka and southeast of Severnyi in Donetsk Oblast. The enemy carried out an air strike in the area of Avdiyivka in Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling affected Avdiyivka, Karlivka, Perevomayske, Nevelskoye in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Marinka axis, Forces defending Ukraine continue to hold back Russian army advances near Marinka in Donetsk Oblast. The enemy carried out an air strike in the area of Krasnogorivka in Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling affected Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Marinka, Paraskevivka and Novomikhailovka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk axis, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions near Staromayorskoye in Donetsk Oblast. Carried out air strikes in the areas of Blagodatne and Staromayorskoye in Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling affected Vuhledar, Otradne, Velyka Novosilka, Blagodatne, Storozhove, Staromayorske in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia axis, the enemy made unsuccessful offensive actions near south of Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Artillery shelling affected over 20 populated areas, including Temirivka, Chervone, Bilyhor'ya, Shcherbaki, Stepole, Novoaleksandrivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

On the Kherson axis, the enemy carried out an air strike near Kozatske in Kherson Oblast. Artillery shelling from the enemy affected over 25 populated areas, including Mikhailivka, Chervoniy Mayak, Olhivka, Prydniprovskoye, Beregove, Stanislav in Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson; Kutsurub, Ochakiv in Mykolaiv Oblast.

In light of the successes of the offensive operation of Forces defending Ukraine, difficulties with timely medical assistance for wounded servicemen were observed in subunits of Russian occupation forces on temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. For example, in temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, there is a shortage of hospital beds, as a result of which wounded occupiers are being sent to other regions. Thus, only during the period from July 28 to August 2, approximately 100 occupiers with multiple shrapnel wounds were transported for treatment to the occupied city of Skadovsk in Kherson Oblast. To treat the occupiers near the line of combat engagement, local civilian hospitals on occupied territories have been transferred by Russian military command to provide first aid exclusively to their wounded.

Due to heavy casualties, the enemy is deploying additional military hospitals in civil administrative buildings on occupied Ukrainian territory. At the same time, with a constant influx of wounded occupiers into hospitals, shortages of qualified medical personnel have been recorded among the enemy's hospitals. Therefore, occupation command is trying to recruit doctors from Russian territory. For example, at the end of July, military doctors from St. Petersburg arrived in the occupied city of Nova Kakhovka in Kherson Oblast who previously served in African countries or Syria. And a new group of military doctors from Rostov-on-Don arrived in the occupied village of Nizhniy Torgai in Kherson Oblast.

The aviation of Forces defending Ukraine carried out 10 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment during the last day, one — on a surface-to-air missile system and another — on an enemy logistics hub.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage to three command points, six artillery systems in firing positions, areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy, ammunition depots, a radio-electronic warfare station and an important target of the enemy during the day.

Overall, Ukrainian soldiers liquidated 580 Russian occupiers yesterday, destroyed 16 tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, 15 artillery systems, one helicopter, four tactical drones, 16 vehicles and four units of special equipment.
