President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about the meeting of the General Staff in a special format and good news from Germany.

"I wish you health, dear Ukrainians!

Briefly reporting for the day. The main thing today — lengthy and very detailed important meetings with our military.

First of all — the General Staff. A special format — a narrow circle, only key individuals.

We reviewed the current situation on the front lines, on the main axes of our offensive operations. What is succeeding. What needs to be strengthened. What we plan for the near future.

There were reports from the Chief Commander, commanders who directly manage the eastern and southern directions, as well as a report from the head of the SBU.

After this, there was also a special communication between our commanders, the Office leader, internationalists with partners regarding equipping our soldiers with ammunition and equipment.

The task throughout Ukraine is one — to increase the potential of our capabilities on the front line and weaken everything that occupiers are trying to press upon our soldiers or limit Ukraine.

Today there is good news from Germany — exactly what we agreed with Olaf Scholz. There are additional Patriot installations. Thank you very much, Olaf, this is needed for protecting our people from Russian terror. I thank Germany and Chancellor personally for fulfilling this agreement — it will definitely save thousands of lives of our people. This brings us closer to creating a full-fledged air shield for Ukraine. It helps people, cities, villages.

Today Russian terrorists struck Zaporizhzhia again — hitting civilian infrastructure, damaging a church, residential building…

As of now, it is known that there are fatalities, unfortunately. There are injured. My condolences to relatives and loved ones who have lost their close ones...

We work every day, every week so that our defenders of the sky have more SSM systems and rockets for them.

Tomorrow I will continue this work, trying my best to provide greater protection for the sky.

Our entire territory needs significantly more SSM systems than there are now. Step by step we are turning this "significantly more" into concrete possibilities of our air forces, our anti-aircraft units, our mobile artillery brigades.

Preparing even more specifics regarding modern destroyers for our soldiers: I have no doubt that F-16s will be in our sky.

I thank everyone who helps us protect people from Russia's terror! Thank you to all who strive with us for the complete liberation of Ukrainian land from occupiers!

Of course, I thank every soldier, every sergeant, officer, general, who gives Ukraine such necessary results on the front line! Today a special thanks goes to the 35th Separate Marine Brigade and the 55th Separate Artillery Brigade. You are simply great soldiers!
