In the final preparatory match before the start of the new season, Spanish "Girona" FC, featuring Ukrainian national team players Viktor Tsygankov and Artem Dovbik, faced Italian "Lazio."

Tsygankov started the game and played until the 65th minute, scoring a goal.

Dovbik came on in the 73rd minute, making his debut for the new team and helping them secure a victory—2:1.

On August 12, "Girona" will play their first official match of the 2023/2024 season—in the opening round of La Liga, they will travel to face "Real Sociedad."
