To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on July 30, 2023 regarding Russia's invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and twentieth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

The Russian Federation continues its occupation war, despite significant losses. The enemy continues to kill civilians in Ukraine and still ignores laws and customs of warfare, employing tactics of terror.

On the night of July 30, the enemy attacked from a southeast direction with four Shahed strike drones.

Using air force forces and means, all enemy drones were destroyed within the Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

During the past day, the enemy carried out eight missile strikes, 33 aviation attacks, and conducted 53 artillery shelling of our troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians, residential buildings have been damaged.

The likelihood of further missile and aviation strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

During the past day, 36 combat engagements took place.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions, the operational situation — no significant changes. Signs of enemy offensive group formation have not been detected.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky Directions, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of over 20 populated areas. Among them — Mykolaivka, Chernihiv region; Stara Huta, Grabovske, Budilne, Volvynne, Sumy region; Udi, Kozacha Lopan', Ohrymovka, Oghireve and Tikhie, Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk Direction, artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy affected Topoli, Dvorychyna, Zapadne, Kyslivka, Berestove, Kynrashyvka and Kupyansk, Kharkiv region.

On the Lyman Direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Novoyegorivka and Bilohirivka, Luhansk region. Artillery shelling affected populated areas of Nevsko, Bilohirivka, Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamyanske, Torske, Spirene, Rozdolyvka, Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut Direction, over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, among them — Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Chasyev Yar, Ivanivske, Bila Hora and Druzhba.

On the Avdiyivka Direction, the enemy carried out an aviation strike in the area of Nevelskiy. Artillery shelling affected over 10 populated areas, including Avdiyivka, Severne, Pervomaiske, Karlivka and Novokalynove, Donetsk region.

On the Marinka Direction, forces of defense continue to hold back Russian troops' advance in the area of Mariinka town. The enemy carried out an aviation strike in the area of Krasnogorivka and shelled over 15 populated areas, among them — Krasnogorivka, Mariinka, Novomikhaylivka, Georgiyivka, Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsk Direction, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Makarivka and Starymayorskye and shelled populated areas of Yelizavetovka, Otradne, Blagodatne, Makarivka, Rivnopil, Starymayorske and Vylene Pole, Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson Directions, the enemy concentrates its efforts to prevent further advance of our troops. The enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Orikhov, Zaporizhzhya region, and Antonivka on Kherson territory. Artillery shelling affected over 30 populated areas, among them — Novodarivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bihor'ia, Mali Shcherbaki, Kamianske, Zaporizhzhya region; Zolota Balka, Tokaryvka, Antonivka, Tyagynka, Mykhaylivka, Kherson region. At the same time, forces of defense of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations on Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidating on achieved lines.

Aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out ninety strikes in areas of enemy personnel concentration, weapons and military equipment during the past day. Also, our defenders destroyed four tactical reconnaissance drones.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery inflicted one artillery weapon on firing position, one ammunition depot, one radio-electronic warfare station, as well as one area of enemy personnel concentration during the past day.

Overall, our soldiers liquidated 480 Russian occupiers in the past day, burned down 14 Russian tanks, 11 armored combat vehicles, nine artillery systems, one air defense system, four tactical reconnaissance drones, twenty-eight cars and one unit of special equipment.
