President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the heroism of Special Operations Forces and the completion of work at the site of the Dnipro missile strike.

"I wish health to all Ukrainians!

Today — in Donetsk. Timev Yar, Kramatorsk, Slovyansk, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka. With our soldiers, our heroes.

I greeted and had the honor to personally welcome, shake hands with, and award soldiers of Special Operations Forces on their professional day. They are always at the hottest front lines, on the most responsible, special missions. So now — the Bakhmut direction, I came to them. Thanked the boys for their strength and heroism, professionalism, and extraordinary professional defense of Ukraine.

Special Operations Forces — this is such heroism that it's impossible to tell all the details. Only years later — such a specificity of operations. The boys deal particularly painful blows to Russian terrorists.

Of what we can talk about now, of course, — it is their participation in key combat operations. Bakhmut especially. Avdiivka, Krasnogorovka, Marinka, Soltadar. Together with everyone they defended Kyiv and Hostomel, Bucha, Irpin, Moshchny, Makariv. Snake Island — this is also Special Operations Forces together with reconnaissance, together with the "Alphas" and Navy. Kinburn Spit. Kherson. Now — liberating Staryi Mykhailivskyi. This is also a result, in part, of Special Operations Forces.

During the war, 17 soldiers of Special Operations Forces were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. Sadly, 13 of them posthumously. In total, 2520 soldiers of SOF have been honored with state awards. Thank you to all of you, soldiers, for your results for Ukraine and our entire people! Thank you for your insignia, it is very honorable! And once again I wish the most important — victory! Victory over Russian evil.

Dnipro. The work at yesterday's missile strike site was completed early this morning. Nine people were injured, including two children, teenagers. All received necessary help. For every such blow, for all of Russia's terror, the enemy will inevitably feel the force of justice. We will not forget or forgive them anything.

Today — the anniversary of Oleksandriivka, one of the most despicable and brutal crimes of Russia. The premeditated, calculated murder of captured "Azovstal" fighters.

May every loss of Russia be a price for its evil, and may every occupier, every Russian murderer, all responsible for this terror against Ukraine and Ukrainians know — as long as they are alive — that justice prevails. Ukraine will win!
