Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on July 29, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and twentieth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

During the past day, the Russian Federation carried out a missile strike on the city of Dnipro using two Iskander-M ballistic missiles. Additionally, the enemy conducted 11 air strikes and fired 38 artillery barrages at positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians; residential buildings and other civilian and administrative infrastructure have been destroyed.

The likelihood of missile and aerial attacks on all territories of Ukraine remains high.

During the day, 27 combat engagements took place.

On the Volynian and Polissian fronts, the operational situation — no significant changes. Signs of forming offensive units have not been detected.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi fronts the enemy conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Halyahynivka and Leonivka, Chernihiv Oblast, and Iskrishchyna and Volynino, Sumy Oblast. Conducted mortar and artillery shelling of over 20 populated areas, including Ivaschyky, Huryv Kozatskyy, Udy, Strylecha, Zelenye, Ohrimivka, Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk Front the enemy conducted an aerial strike in the area of Druzhelubivka, Kharkiv Oblast. Artillery and mortar shelling was suffered by Kolodyazhne, Dorichna, Zakhidne, Synkivka, Kyslivka, Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lyman Front the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Serebryanskyi Forest and Bihorivka, Luhansk Oblast. Conducted an aerial strike near Hryhoriyivka, Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling was suffered by populated areas Nevske, Bihorivka, Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut Front over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Minkivka, Bogdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtekhine, Bila Hora, Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiyivka Front the enemy conducted an aerial strike in the area of Avdiyivka. Over 10 populated areas suffered from artillery shelling, including Avdiyivka, Pervomaiske and Karlivka, Donetsk Oblast.

On the Marinka Front the forces of defense continue to hold back Russian troops' advance in the area of Mariinka city. The enemy carried out shelling of over 10 populated areas, including Krasnogorivka, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Pobeda, Georgiyivka, Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk Front the enemy carried out shelling of populated areas Otradne, Blahodatne, Makarivka, Zelenoe Pole and Novodaryvka, Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts the enemy concentrates its main efforts to prevent further advance of our troops. Artillery shelling was suffered by over 25 populated areas, including Chervone, Hulyaypole, Charivne, Novoandriyivka and Stebne, Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Zolotaya Balka, Mikhailivka, Kozatske, Tyaginka, Ivanivka and Sadove, Kherson Oblast. At the same time, the forces of defense of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations on Melitopol and Berdyansk fronts, consolidate on achieved lines, inflict artillery fire damage on identified enemy targets, carry out counter-battery measures.

On temporarily occupied territories, forced passportization of Ukrainian citizens continues. Thus, in order to strengthen moral pressure on the residents of temporarily occupied Gorlovka, Donetsk Oblast and force them to obtain Russian citizenship, occupiers sent orders to all local enterprises regarding submission to so-called "Ministry of State Security DNR" lists of employees who have not obtained a Russian passport. The final deadline for compliance with the order is January 1, 2024. At the same time, the occupation administration of the populated area of Blagoveshchensk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, is conducting measures to encourage local residents to obtain Russian citizenship. In particular, it offers pensioners a cash reward of 50 thousand Russian rubles.

The aviation of the forces of defense of Ukraine carried out three strikes in areas of enemy personnel concentration, armament and military equipment during the past day.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery inflicted eight artillery systems on firing positions, two radio-electronic warfare stations, ammunition depots, as well as fuel and lubricant material depots of the enemy over the course of a day.

Overall, during the past day our soldiers liquidated 390 Russian occupiers, burned one Russian tank, six armored combat vehicles, eleven artillery systems, seven cars, and one unit of special equipment.
