President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the wonderful work of our Air Force and about the first emergency meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council.

"I wish good health to all Ukrainians!

Today is a day worth ending with special thanks to all our Air Force soldiers for each downed Russian missile.

The data is still being verified, but according to preliminary reports, over 30 missiles were shot down during today's missile attack alone — an absolute majority of those that were used against us.

There are several hits and some fragments have fallen. But it is very important that the audacity of this attack was destroyed. Air Force — well done!

I thank everyone who protects Ukraine's skies. And we work every day to give our soldiers more and more opportunities to defend Ukraine, our cities, and people. Today was no exception.

Today the first emergency meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council took place. We agreed on this meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, literally just a few days ago we convened the council. And Jens, as well as all allied states, reacted promptly and in solidarity.

At the Alliance level, Russian attacks against our country, against our ports were clearly condemned. We discussed specific actions that could restore calm and predictability to the Black Sea region. Thank you everyone for today's meaningful work of the Ukraine-NATO Council!

The Italian Senate adopted a decision regarding the recognition of the Holodomor as genocide against the Ukrainian people today. And this is very important. It is important that the world's recognition of historical truth about the Holodomor is becoming more and more confident — step by step we will ensure full recognition of this truth.

I held several important meetings regarding the preparation of international events in August, including the Crimean Platform.

We are preparing and listing de-occupation steps for Crimea. Comprehensive ones — security-related, economic, social. We can fairly quickly reintegrate Crimea into Ukraine's state fabric. In fact, right now occupiers should think in Crimea that while the Crimean bridge still works somehow, they need to return home, to Russia.

Crimea, like all of Ukraine, will be free — free from all Russian evil, starting with Russian missiles and ending with every single Russian occupier. Russia is losing this war, and no missile will save it.

Glory to all who defend Ukraine! By the way, today our boys on the front had very good results. Well done! Details later.

Glory to Ukraine!"
