President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about a globally significant priority and part of Ukraine's peace formula, as well as the results of the first year of drone army operations.

"I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!

Today was a long and eventful day.

It started early. And as usual, we are working on obtaining weapons, new defense support packages, especially American ones. I am grateful for today's package: artillery, missiles for 'HIMARS', 'PATRIOTS', 'NASAMS', drones and much more. Thank you, America!

I spoke with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. As always, a very practical conversation, clear. First of all - about the protection of our southern regions, especially Odessa, normal life for people and operation of our ports.

We discussed with Rishi possible steps, the possible number of battery units. The United Kingdom can become the leader whose help with air defense systems will guarantee real security.

The world knows that the security of our Black Sea ports is where global food market stability begins.

Now is the time to gather the harvest of resolve, secure resolve, so that no one ends up as a collector of chaos in Africa or anywhere else on other continents.

Food security - this is a globally significant priority and part of Ukraine's peace formula.

I held today preparatory meetings before the first session of the Ukraine-NATO Council, which will take place tomorrow. Consultations on the very issue of Black Sea security - our ports and our grain exports. We have already started preparing - together with the Alliance - to prepare a compatibility plan.

The second meeting was with government officials and representatives of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada regarding European integration, necessary steps, exactly those decisions that need to be adopted to launch negotiations on Ukraine's EU membership.

We are preparing for talks practically on a daily basis.

Today there was an event, although not public, but still strategically important: government officials presented the results of the first year of the drone army. No longer just a project, but a real Ukrainian drone army. There was a presentation of various types of Ukrainian drones used for defense, as well as meetings with manufacturers, designers, donors. Journalists and representatives of civil society had the opportunity to see what potential has been achieved in the first year of the drone army and how the army will grow. Absolutely necessary for defense are all drones - from relatively simple 'Maviks' to sea drones and strike drones capable of operating at great distances. By the way, we often discuss this topic on the dais and quite often - with raised voices. But there are results, which can be seen in the news.

Good news about the use of Ukrainian drones will become more frequent. And that is fundamental.

Another one, fundamental.

Millions of Ukrainians and Ukrainian women day by day, night after night are maximally focused on one thing. Not on themselves, not on their own desires, but on defending the state and life.

But unfortunately, some people think that the war is somewhere far away from them.

As if the dome of the Verkhovna Rada or the walls of some offices or list of powers can shield them from reality.

No one will forgive deputies, judges, 'military commissars' or any other officials who oppose the state. Some have islands and resorts during wartime, others earn in 'military commissariats', some get gains in courts... For all public servants this is a betrayal of national principles, it's a betrayal of societal interests.

I want to warn all deputies, officials, and everyone else on state positions. When you are looking for weapons for the country day by day, when your entire attention - so that there is artillery, rockets, drones, when you constantly see, constantly feel how much moral strength our soldiers have gained for Ukraine, who do everything possible and impossible to win and preserve freedom, then any internal betrayal, any 'beach' or personal enrichment instead of the interests of Ukraine will at least evoke anger.

Anger. Remember this. Imagine how many millions of hearts in Ukraine feel such anger.

I want everyone to hear me now, all deputies, officials. You should work for Ukraine and the interests of the Ukrainian people. I am grateful to those deputies who really take care of state interests. And those who think about spending more time abroad and looking for 'convenient' trips that can be combined with business or friends or 'beaches', there will not be any of you.

There won't be either those who, through their own benefits, do not want to adopt decisions necessary for our defense or European integration. Every law needed to strengthen the positions of our soldiers must be adopted. Every law needed for Ukraine to start negotiations with the EU on membership must be adopted. And I don't want to hear any more excuses anymore. No one does. Ukraine is giving you no more time.

If you work for Ukraine, you are necessary for Ukraine; if not, then not.

One more thing.

Today some preliminary results of the checks on other 'military commissars', besides the former Odessa one, were presented to me. And discouraging results. Of course, law enforcement will implement them legally and society will see everything.

But I want to say to all such 'military commissars' and any other officials who for some reason think that society is just waiting or that they can get away with something in the rear. We are winning this war started by Russia, and we are winning a state life worthy of our heroic defenders, every man and woman who now gives everything to defend.

And finally.

I signed two decrees today awarding our soldiers. 649 defenders of Ukraine have been awarded state honors. Of them, sadly, 218 posthumously.

Everyone must remember what the statehood, freedom and dignity are worth.

Glory to Ukraine!"
