To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on July 19, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred and fifty-first day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Forces of the Ukrainian Defense are continuing offensive operations on the Bakhmut, Melitopol, and Berdyansk axes.

On the axes of Great Novosilka — Stary Mayorovskoye and Novosilka — Stary Mayorovskoye, there were some successes, they are consolidating on the achieved lines, delivering fire strikes, conducting counter-battery measures.

On the Bakhmut axis, our troops continue to conduct offensive actions north and south of the city of Bakhmut. During combat operations, Russian occupiers were forced to retreat from positions northeast of Orilhovo-Vasylivka. Our soldiers have partial success, consolidating on the achieved lines. The enemy is putting up fierce resistance, actively using reserves, suffering massive losses. Heavy battles are ongoing.

On the night of July 19, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine from a southern direction, using cruise missiles of air, ground, and sea basing, as well as Iranian strike UAVs of Shahed type.

They targeted critical infrastructure and military objects, with the main target being Odesa region.

Over several minutes, the enemy hit:

— 16 sea-based cruise missiles «Kalibr», likely from the small missile ship «Ingushetia» and frigate «Admiral Essen» in the Black Sea;

— eight air-launched cruise missiles X-22 from long-range aviation Tu-22M3 in the Black Sea;

— six «Onyx» cruise missiles from coastal missile complexes «Bastion» (Crimea);

— one air-launched guided rocket X-59 from a Su-35 destroyer in the Black Sea;

— 32 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from test ranges Chauda (Crimea) and Primorsk-Akhtarskaya (Rostov region).

As a result of combat operations, the air defense forces of the Air Force and other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 37 aerial targets:

— 13 «Kalibr» cruise missiles;

— one air-launched guided rocket X-59;

— 23 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs.

The strikes with Kh-22 and «Onyx» missiles were directed at infrastructure in the Odesa region. Local military administrations report on the consequences of these strikes and casualties.

Over the past day, air forces carried out more than 20 aviation strikes against objects, concentrations of equipment and personnel of Russian occupiers.

During the previous day, Russian occupiers delivered a missile-air strike on Ukrainian territory — six sea-based cruise missiles «Kalibr» and 35 Iranian Shahed-136 UAVs were used. Air forces destroyed four Kalibr cruise missiles and 31 enemy UAVs.

In addition, the enemy carried out 80 aviation strikes and conducted 74 shelling with multiple rocket launchers on our positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians, industrial facilities, residential buildings, and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol axes — over 20 combat engagements took place during the previous day.

On the Volyn and Polesie axes, the operational situation remains unchanged. No signs of enemy offensive groupings have been detected.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi axes, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 20 populated areas, including Seredina-Buda, Popivka, Iskriskovschyna, Volvino, Stebne in Sumy region, and Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, and Budarki in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk axis, our soldiers are firmly holding their defense. The enemy carried out an aviation strike near Kislivka. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy was experienced by Novomlyn, Dvorychyna, Zapadne, Synkivka, Kupyansk, and Kislivka in Kharkiv region.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy carried out aviation strikes near Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Siverska in Donetsk region. Artillery shelling was experienced by populated areas of Nevsko and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, as well as Torske, Lyman, Berezhove, and Rozdolyvka in Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut axis, our defenders successfully repelled attacks under intense air and artillery fire from the enemy near Bogdanivka in Donetsk region. The enemy carried out aviation strikes near Kurduymovka, Ozaryanivka, Druzhba, White Hill, and Oleksandr-Shulthine. Over 10 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Vasylkivka, Bogdanivka, Stupochki, Oleksandr-Shulthine, North and South in Donetsk region.

On the Avdiivka axis, the enemy carried out an aviation strike near the city of Avdiivka, simultaneously conducting artillery shelling of more than 15 populated areas. Among them are Keramik, Avdiivka, Pervomaiskoe, and Semenivka in Donetsk region.

On the Mariupol axis, forces of defense continue to hold back Russian troops' advance near Mariupol and Krasnogorivka. The enemy carried out shelling of more than 10 populated areas, including Krasnogorivka, Mariupol, Novomikhailovka, and Maximiliansk in Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsk axis, near Rivnopolye in Donetsk region and Novodarivka in Zaporizhzhia region, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore lost positions. The enemy carried out aviation strikes near Velyka Novosilka, Makaryvka, and Rivnopolye. Shelling of more than 10 populated areas was conducted, including Novomikhailovka, Ugledar, Zolotaya Niva, and Shakhtarske in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts to prevent further advance of our troops. The enemy carried out aviation strikes near Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Orikhovo, and Pyatihatky in Zaporizhzhia region. Shelling of more than 20 populated areas was conducted, including Vilene Pole, Vremyvka in Donetsk region; Zaliznychnoe, Lobkove, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region; Synelnykov and Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region; Burgunka, Kherson, Sadovoye, Beregovo, Velytensk, and Ochakiv in Kherson region. At the same time, forces of defense continue offensive operations on Melitopol and Berdyansk axes, consolidating on achieved lines, delivering fire strikes, conducting counter-battery measures.

Russian occupiers continue to plunder peaceful civilians, appropriating grain harvests from Ukrainian citizens. Thus, in temporarily occupied Skadovsk of Kherson region, Russian occupiers since July 10 have intensified the use of the port for exporting this year's grain crop to their ports.

Air forces of defense carried out 12 strikes against areas of concentration of personnel, armament and military equipment, as well as three — against air defense systems of the enemy over the past day.

Subunits of missile troops and artillery during the previous day damaged one command point of the enemy, one air defense system, 16 artillery means on firing positions, three ammunition depots, and three stations of electronic warfare equipment of the enemy.

Overall, our soldiers liquidated 470 Russian occupiers. The enemy lost four tanks, eight armored combat vehicles, 31 artillery systems, two air defense means, 46 UAVs at the operational-tactical level, six cruise missiles, 19 cars and six units of special equipment.
