Ukrainian champion "Shakhtar" has departed for a training camp in the Netherlands, where they will play against local team AZ on July 8. The miners have changed their head coach — Dutchman Patrick van Leeuwen now occupies the position previously held by Croatian Igor Jovicevic who coached "Zorya."

There are also other personnel changes. Veteran Pyatov's contract has ended, and he hasn't yet decided on his future. Oleksiy Shevchenko and Jurasek have left Shakhtar, while Mykhailichenko and Taylor returned to their clubs after a one-year loan period. In contrast, the team now includes newcomer Ecuadorian midfielder Castillo. The club has extended Rakhitskyi's contract for another year.

Meanwhile, second-placed "Dnipro-1" has seen several players depart: Lukhvechik, Rybak, Tankovsky, Matarrita, Gomez, Peglow, and Hayner. Newcomers include Gorin, Misak, and Myroshnychenko; Gorbunov and Bill have returned to the team. Dnipropetrovskians have extended their contract with top scorer of the 2022/2023 UPL season, Dobycha, until summer 2025. They also signed a new one-year deal with Kogut. The black and yellow side are holding training in Zakarpattia where they've already won three matches — against local teams "Sevlyush" (5:0), "Khust" (4:1), and "Mynay" (4:0).

After Patrick van Leeuwen's departure from Shakhtar, the club appointed a new coach for "Zorya". The Serbian specialist Nenad Lalatovic has taken up this role. Luhansk players have returned to Dynamo Kyiv on loan — Buletsa and Bragko, as well as Hlany. In contrast, "Zorya" bought out Panamanian forward Guerrero's contract, signed Golovkin and Bugay, and extended contracts with Butko and Churk. The black and whites are holding training in Lublin, Poland, where they will also play home European Cup matches. Bronze UPL winners have already played a friendly match against Polish "Resovia" (4:2).

Ukraine's captain Yarmolenko returned to "Dynamo" — a two-year contract has been signed. Dynamo Kyiv said goodbye to Boyko, Besedin, Burdo, Sole, and Krawchenko who went on loan to "Polesia." "Vorskla" held friendlies at their home training camp with "Poltava" (3:2) and "Oleksandria" (1:2). The team's roster has been bolstered by goalkeeper Yermolov, while contracts have been extended with Kane and Sklyar. Poltavians said goodbye to Yavorsky.

"Oleksandria" saw departures of Kozhushko, Mustafaev, Tsurykov, Bilohevskyi, Bondarenko, Voloshin, Myroshnychenko, and Horokh. In contrast, "city dwellers" signed a full contract with Logyinov, extended deals with Kopinya and Shevchenko. Oleksandrians played friendlies against FSK "Mariupol" (1:0) and "Vorskla" (2:1).

On June 20th, "Kryvyi Rih" came out of vacation. The club's loan agreements with Dibanago, Mykytishyn, Po, Sarnevskyi, Banada, and Opanasenko have ended; Vitaliy Vernydyb has retired. White and greens have played friendly matches against "Viktoriya" Mykolayivka (2:0), "Dinaz" (2:0), "Kolos" (4:2), "Chernihiv" (3:1).

"LNZ" secured a place in the top division through playoffs. UPL newcomers have signed Gennadiy Pasich, Pryadun, Kovalev, Banada, Stasuk, Naumtsia, Pienkov. Departed are Yudokimov, Nekhtiy, Shelykhov, Soldat, Polylyakh, Synygub, Galenko. Technical director appointed is Andriy Kolisnyk.
