Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred eighty-ninth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Forces of the Ukrainian Defense are continuing offensive operations on the Melitopol, Berdyansk, and Bakhmut axes. They had success in the Novodarivka — Pryyutne and Novodanylivka — Robotyne directions, delivering artillery fire at identified targets, conducting counter-battery measures.

Russian occupation forces are suffering significant losses in manpower, weapons, and equipment.

Ukrainian soldiers carried out offensive actions on the Bakhmut axis, in the areas of populated places Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Ivanivske, Kurdyumivka, Pivnichne, had success, consolidated on the achieved lines.

During the past day, Russian occupiers carried out a missile and aviation strike against Ukrainian territory, including with three air defense guided missiles from S-300. Air defense forces and means destroyed two cruise missiles "Kalibr" and seven combat drones of Shahed type. In addition, the enemy attacked from the northern direction with four unmanned aerial vehicles of an undetermined type (likely, combat ones), all drones were destroyed.

Also during the day, the enemy carried out 45 aviation strikes and conducted 38 shelling using multiple rocket launchers.

The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes against the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Mariupol axes — 38 combat encounters took place during the day.

On the Volyn and Polissya axes, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi axes, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of populated places in Hryhorivka, Chernihiv region; Seredina-Buda, Sorokyne, Korneyok, Khodine, Stukalivka, Yunakyvka, Loknya, Sumy region, as well as Udi, Chervona Zoriya, Odnorobivka, Veterinarnoye, Hoptivka, Strilechcha, Plytyna, Kozacha Lopan', Morykhovets', Lukyanets', Izbytske, Pletenivka, Ogireve, Volokhivka, Budarky, Zemlyanka, Chugunivka and Otradne in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk axis, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Stelmakhivka. Artillery shelling was suffered by Krasnoe Pervoe, Figolivka, Novomlyn'sk, Dvorichna, Masutyvka, Kislivka and Berestevo in Kharkiv region.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Veseloye, Spirdonovo, and Rozdolovka in Donetsk region. Artillery shelling was suffered by Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Torske, Seriyebryanka, Verkhnyokamianskoe, Spirdono, and Rozdolovka — Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Bogdanivka. Carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Serhiyivka, Sverdlovsk and White Hill. The enemy's artillery shelling affected the areas of Vasukivka, Markove, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka and Pivdenne Donetsk region.

On the Avdiyivka axis, occupiers carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Perevalskiy. Carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Avdiyivka and Severnyy. Conducted artillery shelling of populated places Sucha Balka, Avdiyivka, Orlyvka, Vodyane, Karlivka, Nevel'ske, Oleksandrivske, Valentynivka, Keramik, Stepole and Perevalskiy Donetsk region.

On the Mariupol axis, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the area of Mariupol, without success. Carried out an aviation strike near Krasnogorivka. At the same time conducted artillery shelling of populated places Georgiyevka, Mariupol and Pobeda Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsk axis, units of the Defense Forces liberated the village of Rivnopil in Donetsk region. The enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Prechystivka, Bogorodichne and Makarivka. Conducted shelling of populated places Illinka, Paraskevivka, Novomikhaylivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Storozhove, Yelizavetivka, Bogoyavlenskaya, Vuhledar, Zolotaya Niva, Makarivka, Novosilka, Novopil and Zelenoe Pole Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson axes, the enemy concentrates its main efforts to prevent our troops from advancing. The enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Levadnoye and Oleksiyovka. Conducted artillery shelling of populated places Temriyivka, Novodarivka, Levadne, Olhivske, Maliynivka, Zaporizhzhya, Chervone, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychnoye, Hulyaypil'skoye, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Shcherbaki, Pyatihatky, Lobkove Zaporizhzhya region; Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region; Dudchani, Olhivka, Respublikanets', Lvov, Tyaginka, Burgunka, Kachkarivka, Mykolayivka, Zmiyivka, Antonivka, Naddnipryanske, Molodyzhne, Inzhenernoye, Zelenivka, Kherson, Bilozerka, Berehove, Dniprovske, Romashkovo and Charyvne in Kherson region as well as Ochakiv on Mykolayivshchyna.

In the populated place of Pryvylya in Luhansk region, occupiers are strengthening counter-reconnaissance mode, primarily — to identify informants among local residents for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Over a week, so-called "mayor" of Pryvylya Dudnik personally moved around the streets in a vehicle equipped with loudspeakers, threatening and forbidding local residents from communicating with people who are on Ukrainian-controlled territory. This person also threatened local residents with "administrative responsibility": for women — arrest up to 15 days, for men — arrest up to 30 days, with confiscation of property and communication means.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out six strikes against areas where enemy manpower is concentrated during the past day.

Units of rocket troops and artillery inflicted one command post, 12 enemy artillery units on firing positions, one area with enemy concentration, two ammunition depots and three other important targets of the enemy over the last day.

Overall during the past day our soldiers liquidated 590 Russian occupiers. The enemy also lost five tanks, 14 armored combat vehicles, 28 artillery systems, two MLRS, one air defense system, ten tactical drones and six units of special equipment.
