Legionaries of the Ukraine national team for the 2022/2023 club season: Mykhaylo Mudryk

Like several of his national team partners, Ukrainian defender Mykhaylo Mudryk can divide the club season-2022/2023 into two unequal parts.

Until January, the young winger was on fire with Shakhtar Donetsk in the Ukrainian championship and especially in a few Champions League matches. In these tournaments, Mykhaylo managed to play 18 games for the miners, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists.

However, it is likely that his performances in Europe played a decisive role in Mudryk's loud transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk to London Chelsea.

Of course, our young player could not avoid the factor of difficult adaptation to a new league, team, and country. Since his move to Stamford Bridge, Mykhaylo has played 17 games for the Blues, in which he only managed two assists.

While Mudryk was adapting to English realities, Chelsea changed managers twice, and in the new season, the team will be led by a third manager—famed Mauricio Pochettino. Considering the Argentine's previous experience at various clubs, it can be said with certainty that the bright future of our Ukrainian player depends exclusively on his persistent work, which should bring out the natural talent of our boy to the highest European and world level.
