To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 26, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred eighty-eighth day of large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

Last night, Russian terrorists carried out another missile and aviation strike on Ukraine.

Three cruise missiles "Kalibr" were launched from a submarine in the Black Sea, and eight attack drones of Iranian manufacture type Shahed were launched from the eastern coast of the Azov Sea.

With the forces and means of the air defense command "South," two cruise missiles "Kalibr" and seven attack UAVs of type "Shahed" were destroyed.

In addition, the enemy attacked with four unmanned aerial vehicles (likely strike drones) from a northern direction. All drones were destroyed in the area of responsibility of the air command "Center."

During the past day, the enemy carried out a missile attack on Ukrainian territory — six guided missiles from S-300 hit civilian objects in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Additionally, 33 aviation strikes and over 45 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers were conducted. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, civilians suffered casualties, residential buildings, agricultural and administrative structures, as well as private vehicles were damaged.

The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Mariupol directions — 36 combat engagements took place during the day.

On the Volyn and Polissya fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy carried out an aviation strike near Zelenoye in Kharkiv Oblast. Conducted mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas of Gremyachka, Timonovychi in Chernihiv Oblast; Hodyne, Malushyne, Kozache, Vorozhba, Iskriskyvshchyna, Pavlivka, Katerynivka in Sumy Oblast, as well as Udi, Veterinarnoe, Graniv, Kozacha Lopan', Krasnoe, Staritsya, Ogireve, Gatyshche, Vovchan'sk, Bochkove, Ohrymovka, Mykolayivka, Nesterne, Budarky, Kruglye, Zemlyanka, Vilkhuvatka, Chugunivka, Hryhorivka, Otradnoye in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions west of Krivoshyieve in Luhansk Oblast and did not succeed. Carried out aviation strikes near Kislivka and Kotlyarivka in Kharkiv Oblast. Artillery and mortar shelling was suffered by Kolodyazhne, Krasnoe Perechne, Figolivka, Novomlyn'sk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masutyvka, Kislivka, and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Veseloye and Rozdolvka in Donetsk Oblast. Carried out aviation strikes near Torskyi, Dibrovy, Bihorivka, Zvanivka, and Spirne. Artillery shelling was suffered by Nevske and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Serbyanka, Verkhnyokamyans'ke, Spirene, Rozdolvka — Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Mynkivka, Hryhorivka, and Bogdanivka in Donetsk Oblast. Carried out aviation strikes near Khromove and Svyda Balka. From enemy artillery shelling suffered Vasyl'kyvka, Mynkivka, Orhiv-Vasylivka, Bogdanivka, Chasye Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka, and New York in Donetsk.

On the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out an aviation strike near Avdiivka. Conducted artillery shelling of populated areas Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Karlivka and Perevo-Mayske in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Mariupol direction, the enemy conducted offensive actions near Mariupol and did not succeed. Carried out an aviation strike near Krasnogorivka. At the same time, artillery shelling was carried out in populated areas of Goryche, Georgiyivka and Mariupol in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Novomykhailivka. Carried out aviation strikes near Prechystivka and Blagodatne. Conducted shelling of populated areas Paraskevivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Storozhove, Makaryvka, Novosylikha, and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts to prevent our troops from advancing. Unsuccessfully tried to restore lost positions near Novodarivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Carried out aviation strikes near Levadnyi and Novodanilovka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Conducted artillery shelling of about 30 populated areas, including: Temriyivka, Novodarivka, Levadne, Olhyvske, Maliynivka, Zelenyi Hai, Tyshe, Hulyaypole in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Nikopol — Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Mylove, Berislav, Kozats'ke, Lvov, Mikil'ske, Antonivka, Zelenyevka, Kherson and Dniprovske in Kherson Oblast as well as Ochakiv in Mykolaiv Oblast.

The aviation of the Armed Forces carried out eight strikes on enemy personnel concentration areas during the day. Also, our defenders destroyed six reconnaissance UAVs at the operational-tactical level.

Divisions of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage on two command points, three areas of personnel concentration and military equipment, four ammunition depots, a radar station, ten artillery units in firing positions, and another three important targets of the enemy during the day.

During the past day, subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine liquidated 950 Russian occupiers. The enemy also lost one tank, 14 armored combat vehicles, 21 artillery systems, ten UAVs at the operational-tactical level, sixteen cars and five units of special equipment.
