President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, thanking those who did the most work on the front this week and announced a special series of publications on his social media.

"Dear Ukrainians,

I want to dedicate my address primarily to our soldiers. To all those fighting in the toughest battles, to all who are waging this war for Ukraine's victory.

Of course, I will focus on the OSUV "Tavria" units – those who did the most work at the front this week.

Marines of the 35th and 36th separate brigades. Thank you, boys! The 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after General Hetman Mark Bezruchyk. Thank you, soldiers! Artillerymen of the 55th "Zaporizhzhia Sich" brigade. I am proud of you – it is always an honor for me to recognize you, our heroes! Paratroopers of the 79th separate brigade – once again, thank you boys, for your extraordinary strength! The 128th Separate Mountain-Storm Brigade "Zakarpattia". Thank you, soldiers! Thank you for every result you achieve for Ukraine!

I would like to personally recognize today Lieutenant Ivan Hrysyuk, Junior Sergeant Mykola Komysar and soldier Volodymyr Kononuchenko. Thank you for your strength and accuracy!

Our border guards. Kramatorsk, Lviv and Donetsk Border Patrols and soldiers of the mobile Border Patrol "Dover". Thank you all! Especially I would like to recognize Senior Sergeant Oleksandr Koprovsky from the air reconnaissance group, Senior Soldier Viktor Polischuk, soldier Roman Boris. Thank you, boys!

Our National Guard members. The 4th Operational Brigade of the National Guard. Fighting in Donetska Oblast. Thank you, soldiers! In particular, I would like to recognize air reconnaissance officers – Senior Soldier Oleksandr Pogorenyi and soldier Maxim Bobruyenok. Your skill is very helpful!

And I would also like all our people in Ukraine to thank our soldiers personally – your relatives and friends who are on the front lines, your acquaintances, those you have heard about, those you follow on social media, whose relatives you know. Please, thank them, support them and tell your friends and children about their heroes. Our soldiers deserve this. They are true heroes.

And one more thing.

Sometimes in my office is my son. But most of all he is interested in these badges. They are handed to me by military personnel, volunteers and relatives of our soldiers – on the front lines and in Kyiv, in hospitals, during award ceremonies for heroes at Mariinsky Palace. This badge board fills up slowly because every time Kirill takes them away. And I am happy that he is interested in this. Our heroes, our defense, Ukrainian badges.

For a long time now, I have wanted to make such a special series of publications on my social media about these badges – where they come from, who hands them over, which units they belong to. And today we will start publishing these posts.

Perhaps someone else would like to share their badges as well. I think it is right. It is right for our people and children to know whom we owe our lives and freedom of Ukraine. Thank you, soldiers! Thank you all who fight and work for Ukraine!

Glory to Ukraine!"
