President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about a US bill concerning the confiscation and transfer to our state as reparations of assets from Russia, and about the development of new partnerships for Ukraine.

"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

Today's report. First — we have significant international steps that strengthen our positions on several fronts at once.

The European Parliament adopted a powerful resolution in support of the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of our people. There is a specific call to EU leaders to define a clear path for our country's accession to the EU.

And on the issue of NATO, the Parliament fixes exactly that sense of our Ukrainian contribution to Euro-Atlantic security which foresees that Ukraine’s path towards NATO and political invitation should be worked out already in the context of preparing for the Alliance summit in Vilnius. The time for integration and security certainty is clearly here, and I thank all members of the European Parliament and President of the European Parliament Robert Metsola, as well as Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk for their constant and effective work with parliaments of countries — our partners.

The second significant international step today — is a registered bill in the United States concerning the confiscation and transfer to our state as reparations of assets from Russia, the state-sponsor of terrorism. I thank US senators for their strong bipartisan support on this issue of justice for Ukraine and all victims of Russian terror.

In dictatorships like Russia's, money is the highest value. And even more so for individuals who serve the ruling regime or are effectively the owners of state structures.

When both the terrorist state and all Russians collaborating with the Kremlin, which created conditions for Russian aggression or who provide public cover for Russian corrupters lose their money, a very important goal will be achieved — they will feel what it means to lose. They do not respect human life and do not mourn when lives are lost. The ruling class in Russia does not value people and is ready to spend hundreds of thousands of lives. But they do care about the assets they have seized — those, by the way. They should lose them completely, at the expense of exactly those who suffered from their aggression, from this terrorist war, at the expense of our state, our people.

Today I continued addressing parliaments of countries — our partners.

I called on parliamentarians and the Swiss people to continue maintaining unity and solidarity with us in defending shared values and freedom. It is very important that all of us in Europe understand alike: only by force can we now defend the way of life we all so value, in all countries — from the Atlantic to Ukraine, including Switzerland. This is our common task — to protect freedom, international law, and human lives.

I held telephone conversations with representatives of two countries — Belize and Costa Rica. Building new partnerships for Ukraine — to support the peace formula and our resolutions in the UN to defend the UN Charter and international law overall. Discussed with President of Costa Rica and Prime Minister of Belize the possibility of organizing a meeting between Ukraine and Latin America. We can together provide much more protection to freedom and equality of nations in today's world.

An important report was given today about the situation in Kherson region and generally on the south of our country, on our Dnipro region after the Russian terrorist attack on Kakhovska HES. Liquidation of consequences of the catastrophe, help to people, provision with clean water and all other sensitive and important issues. Head of Government Shmyhal, Minister of Internal Affairs Klimentko, profile deputy head of Office Kuleba, representatives of local authorities. Another report — situation in Kryvyi Rih and Odesa after recent terrorist attacks.

And, of course, the front. I thank all our soldiers, every unit, every combat brigade for today's day — for today's battles.

Especially I would like to highlight six units. OSUV "Khortytsia" — paratroopers of our powerful 80th separate airborne brigade. OSUV "Tavria" — soldiers of our 23rd separate mechanized brigade, marines of the 35th and 37th separate brigades, soldiers of the 128th separate mountain-assault Carpathian brigade and 128th separate troops of special operations forces. Thank you all to you boys for your effectiveness! For strength, courage and for returning Ukrainian land to Ukraine and strengthening our Ukrainian will.

Glory to each one who is now in battle, on combat posts and on combat missions! Glory to all who train our soldiers! Who treat and rehabilitate defenders after injuries!

Thank you to everyone around the world who helps. And by the way, today's "Ramstein" went quite effectively. We are getting even stronger!

Glory to Ukraine!"
