Today, June 16, the Ukrainian youth national team, which is preparing for the final tournament of Euro-2023 (U-21), will play a friendly match against their Irish counterparts. Kick-off at 7 PM Kyiv time.

The blue-and-yellow have been training in Austria since June 7. On the 13th, they played a preparatory match against Kuwait (U-23) and won — 2:0.

On June 15, Rostyslav Rotan announced the squad for Euro-2023 (U-21), which includes 23 players, including those currently with the national team.

In total, 16 teams will participate in the tournament taking place from June 21 to July 8 in Georgia and Romania. According to the draw held on October 18 last year in Bucharest, Ukraine landed in Group B where they will face Romania, Spain, and Croatia. The three best teams at Euro-2023 (excluding France and England) will qualify for the 2024 Olympics.
