To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 6, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred sixty-eighth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against our country has begun.

Last night, the Russian Federation again launched a massive missile strike on Ukraine. During the attack, the enemy used 35 cruise missiles. However, all of them were destroyed in the air by our defenders.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out four missile and sixty-four aviation strikes, conducted sixty-four artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers on positions of our troops and populated areas. Sadly, in addition to damaged infrastructure, civilians have also suffered.

The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes across all of Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Over the past day, more than forty combat engagements took place.

On the Volynian and Polesian directions, the operational situation — no significant changes, signs of forming offensive groupings have not been detected. The Republic of Belarus continues to support Russian military aggression — preparations for enemy units are ongoing on its training grounds.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in border areas with Ukraine. Over the past day, the enemy launched a missile strike on the city of Kharkiv using three S-300 missiles. Also carried out aviation strikes in the Seredina-Buda region of Sumy Oblast and Oghretsevo and Hativka of Kharkiv Oblast. Conducted mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas such as Seredina-Buda, Baranivka, Bunyakine, Starye Vyrky, Atinskye, Volkhynye, Obodi, Yastrubyne, Kondratiukha, Myropillya, Krassopillya, Velika Pysarivka, Shevchenkove, Oleksandrivka of Sumy Oblast, as well as Basove, Sotnitsky Cossack, Huriyev Cossack, Udi, Veterinarnoye, Vysoka Yaruga, Glibokoe, Lukyanets, Starytsia, Oghretsevo, Hativka, Plytenivka, Volchansky, Mykolaivka, Nesternye, Budarky, Zarubinka, Shevyakivka, Otradne of Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk direction, over the past day, artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy were suffered by Kolodyazhne, Krassnoye First, Novomlynsky, Kutychkivka, Dvorichna, Zapadnye, Kislivka, Berestevo of Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselyvskoye of Luhansk Oblast.

On the Lyman direction, over the past day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Bilohorivka of Luhansk Oblast. Carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Nevskiy on Luhansk territory and Spirnyy of Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling was suffered by Nevskoye, Bilohorivka of Luhansk Oblast as well as Verkhnyokamiansk, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolovka of Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut direction, over the past day, the enemy carried out offensive actions towards Ivanivskiy, without success. Carried out a missile strike on the residential quarter of Komishuvaha village, destroying residential buildings. Also carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Toretsk and White Hill of Donetsk Oblast. Areas of populated places Vasylkyvka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Khromove, Chasyev Yar, Ivanivskoye, Stupochki, White Hill, Dilievka, and New York of Donetsk Oblast suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

Over the past day, as a result of coordinated actions by units of the Defense Forces, irretrievable losses of the enemy on the Lyman and Bakhmut directions amounted to over 160 people, another 230 occupiers were injured. Losses of the enemy in weapons and military equipment amounted to 28 units.

On the Avdiyivka direction, the enemy carried out an unsuccessful attempt at an offensive towards populated places Avdiyivka, Severne, and Nevelskoye. Carried out aviation strikes in the area of Avdiyivka of Donetsk Oblast. Conducted artillery shelling of populated places Novokalynove, Avdiyivka, Lastochkino, Severne, Pervomayske, Karlivka, and Nevelskoye of Donetsk Oblast.

On the Mariupol direction, our defenders repelled numerous attacks by the enemy in the area of Mariinka city, inflicting significant losses on it. Estimated losses of occupiers over the past day alone on this front amounted to about 70 killed and more than 100 — wounded. Also, 17 units of enemy equipment were destroyed. At the same time, the enemy carried out aviation strikes on Mariinka, conducted artillery shelling of populated places Gorye, Georgiyevka, Mariinka, Pobeda, Novomikhaylovka of Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions towards Novoselykha, without success. Carried out an aviation strike in the area of populated place Velika Novoselykha. Conducted shelling of populated places Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Nova Ukraina and Veremivka of Donetsk Oblast. At the same time on the specified front, our soldiers shot down an enemy helicopter Ka-52.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions. Carried out an aviation strike on Berislaw of Kherson Oblast. Conducted artillery shelling of populated places Burlyatske, Novoselykha, Zelenoye Pole, Novopil, Temirivka of Donetsk Oblast; Olhivskoye, Poltavka, Malinivka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychnye, Hulyaypilske, Charivne, Bilyhorod, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Preobrazhenka, Novoandriyivka, Shcherbaky, Stepanove and Kamiansk of Zaporizhzhya Oblast; Kozatske, Mykolyske, Molodyzhne, Dniprovske of Kherson Oblast as well as the city of Kherson.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 19 strikes on areas of enemy personnel concentration and five — on anti-aircraft missile systems.

Over the past day, our defenders destroyed ten enemy reconnaissance UAVs and six combat drones of various types.

Units of rocket troops and artillery over the past day inflicted damage to two command points, twelve areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, ammunition depots, anti-aircraft missile systems, twelve artillery units of the enemy on firing positions as well as four more important targets.
