Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 1, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred sixty-third day of large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our country has begun.

The Russian Federation, suffering heavy losses, continues its occupation war. It employs a tactic of terror, attempting to intimidate the population of Ukraine and strikes not only at military but also civilian targets.

Last night, the enemy again used operational-tactical missile systems "Iskander" against objects of civil and critical infrastructure in Kyiv Oblast. Prior to this, 10 out of 10 missiles were destroyed by the efforts and means of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out three missile strikes and twenty-nine air raids, conducted forty-nine artillery attacks on positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians, private residential buildings, and other infrastructure have been damaged.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across all of Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on attempts at full occupation of Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts. Over the past day, units of the Territorial Defense Forces repelled twenty-one enemy attacks.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions, the operational situation remains unchanged; no signs of forming offensive groupings have been detected.

On the Northern and Slobidska Directions, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in border areas with Ukraine. Over the past day, it carried out an air strike near Plytenivka in Kharkiv Oblast, conducted mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas such as Karpovychi, Timonovichi, Yanzhulivka, Hlaganivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Seredina-Buda, Progress, Fotovizh, Studentskoye, Gorky, Atinskye, Shpil, Ugrody, Velyka Pysaryvka in Sumy Oblast, as well as Udi, Hoptivka, Lypci, Strilechya, Zelenye, Ternevo, Staritsa, Gatishche, Volchansky, Plytenivka, Volchansky Khutori, Ogireve, Mala Volcha, Varvarivka, Chugunivka, Ambarne, Hryhorivka in the Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk Direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions west of Masutivky in Kharkiv Oblast and towards Novoselyvsky and Stehlakhivka in Luhansk Oblast. It carried out air strikes near Kislivka and Kotlyarivka in Kharkiv Oblast. Artillery and mortar shelling was suffered by Krasne Pereche, Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Zapadne, Masutivka, Kislivka, Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselyvskye in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Lyman Direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions south of Bihorivka but was unsuccessful. It carried out air strikes near Terny and Severnaya in Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling was suffered by Nevskoye and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Novosadovoe, Tor'skoye, and Spirene on the Donets.

On the Bakhmut Direction, over the past day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Orilovo-Vasylivka and White Mountain. Civilian casualties were inflicted by enemy artillery shelling in Kramatorsk, Vasukivka, Orilovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Chasyv Yar, Ivanovske, Predtekhine, White Mountain, Dilievka, Zalizne and New York in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiyivka Direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. It carried out an air strike near Avdiyivka. Artillery shelling was suffered by Novokalinove, Orlivka, Avdiyivka, Tonenskoye, Severne, Netaylove, Karlivka, Pervomaiske and Nevelskoye in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Marinka Direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks near the city of Mariinka. There, the enemy carried out an air strike. Artillery shelling was suffered by Kurakhove,  Maximilivka, Georgiyevka, Mariinka, Pobeda, Yelizavetovka, Katerinovka, Konstantinovka and Novomikhaylovka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk Direction, the enemy carried out air strikes near Vuhledar and Prechystivka. It shelled populated areas such as Bogoyavlenskaya, Vuhledar, Novoukrayinka, Prechystivka, Zolotaya Niva, Shakhterske and Velika Novosilka.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive operations. It shelled populated areas such as Vremivka, Volno Pole, Novosilka, Zeleno Pole, Novopil, Temirovka in Donetsk Oblast; Olhyvske, Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Zalizhnytsne, Hulyaypilske, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilyvka, Novandriyivka, Stepole, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Berislav, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Komishany, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Shiroka Balka in Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson.

Despite numerous appeals from the UN and world leaders, occupiers continue to transform temporarily occupied Enerhodar in Zaporizhzhia Oblast into a military-logistical base. Thus, the "Non-standard Equipment and Pipelines Plant" is being used by invaders for repairing military equipment, while the "Special Constructions Plant" and "Domobud Construction Complex" have been turned into storage facilities for military equipment, weapons, and ammunition.

The Air Force of the Territorial Defense Forces carried out fifteen strikes over areas where enemy personnel and military equipment are concentrated during the past day, two of which were against anti-aircraft missile systems.

Our defenders destroyed five enemy reconnaissance drones.

Units of rocket forces and artillery inflicted damage on one command post, one artillery unit in a firing position, two ammunition depots, and two radio-electronic warfare stations over the course of the day.
