President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about an important legislative initiative for our society and the necessity to document every fact of Russian terror against our people.

"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

This week is coming to an end—a very fruitful one for Ukraine. And these days we are actively preparing for new events in May and June. We need to make this time no less fruitful than the previous ones, both in supplying weapons to our soldiers and in making decisions for Ukraine, in negotiations with our partners.

We have prepared an important legislative initiative for our society. Sanctions against the aggressor are being prepared. We are waiting for international meetings of different levels in Kyiv. We talk with partners about weapons that will help us restore peace.

This week, various partners distinguished themselves in helping Ukraine and Ukrainians—from the United States to New Zealand, from the Netherlands and Belgium to Croatia. Northern European countries—Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland. I thank each partner's decision to support Ukraine!

We are very thoroughly working with other partners on new steps in helping Ukraine; we expect them soon—the very things that our frontline forces need for their strength, for the protection of our sky, for justice against terrorists and for a faster restoration of peace for all Ukrainian land. I will definitely inform about decisions that can be publicly discussed.

It is extremely important that the world knows every fact of Russian terror against our people. That the world speaks about what the state-terrorist does, and how we protect lives. I am grateful to everyone who helps us spread the truth about Russian strikes and shelling, about the cruelty of occupiers that never stops for a day!

Continuous Russian terror against Mykolaiv, brutal shelling of Kherson and its region, strikes on Kharkiv and its region, terror against villages in border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions, hellfire in Donetsk... Just yesterday alone, nine Ukrainians were killed by one Russian strike on the Kherson region—they were engaged in demining, restoring safety for people. My condolences to relatives and close ones...

Security is Russia's main goal. In our country as well as everywhere in Europe, everywhere in the free world. To destroy security, to bring death and chaos—that’s all that a state-terrorist does. And everyone who helps Ukraine restore security, everyone who strengthens partnership among countries in Europe for security and joint strength, everyone who pressures on the state-terrorist—everyone is a defender of peace. I thank every person around the world who stands with Ukraine, who supports our soldiers!

Glory to all our soldiers who are now in battle, at combat posts and on combat missions!

I would like to separately mention the 3rd Assault Brigade and the 24th Mechanized Brigade for successfully destroying terrorists in Donetsk! Thank you, soldiers!

57th Motorized Infantry Brigade, 93rd Mechanized Brigade. I thank all of you, boys, for your heroic defense of positions, for exemplary steadfastness! Just great!

There are also results on the Tavriysky direction that should be noted; there are brigades to whom we can thank today.

Paratroopers of "seventy-ninth" and artillerymen of the 55th Separate Brigade "Zaporizhzhya Sich"—thank you, soldiers, for your courage and power!

Fighters of the 128th Independent Mountain-Storm Brigade and marines of the 35th Separate Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrogradsky—thank you!

I thank every one of our soldiers, I thank everyone for each success on the battlefield!

Glory to you, Ukrainian heroes!

Glory to Ukraine!
