To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 07.05.2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred thirty-eighth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out six missile strikes, including on the cities of Chasiv Yar, Kostiantynivka, and Kherson. Additionally, it conducted 48 air raids and made 77 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers against our positions and populated areas. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged; there are casualties.

The likelihood of missile and aerial strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains quite high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka axes. Fierce battles are being fought for the cities of Bakhmut and Marinka. Overall, during the past day, the adversary carried out nearly 50 attacks.

On the Volyn and Polesie directions, signs of forming enemy offensive groupings have not been detected. On the training grounds of the Belarusian republic, preparations for units of territorial defense are ongoing.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky directions, during the past day, the enemy carried out air strikes on areas near the populated places of Zarychche, Leonivka, and Krasnyi Hutyr in Chernihiv Oblast. Conducted mortar and artillery shelling of the populated places Khreinivka, Karpovychi, Timonovichi, Zaliznyy Most, and Leonivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Ukrainivka, Rivne, Sopich, Boyaro-Lezhachi, and Volfine in Sumy Oblast, as well as Lemishchyna, Graniv, Kozacha Lopan', Strel'echa, Lukiancy, Neskuchnye, Staritsa, Vovchan'ski Khutori, Ohrimivka, Chorne, and Hatne in the Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Sinkyvky. Shelled Krasnoe Pereche, Mytropanyvka, Novomlyn'sk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Sinkyvka, Pishchane, Vishnevye, and Stelemahyvka in the Kharkiv region.

On the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions towards Bihorivka and Sporny. Artillery shelling was experienced by Makieyivka and Nevskoye in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Bihorivka and Sporny in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions. Battles are ongoing in the city of Bakhmut. At the same time, during the past day, the adversary carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Bogdanivka, Ivanivske, Predtechyne, and New York. The villages of Veselye, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasilivka, Markove, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pivdenne, Toretsk, Pivnichne, and New York in Donetsk Oblast were affected by enemy shelling.

On the Avdiivka direction, during the past day, the adversary did not conduct offensive actions. Shelled Berdychi, Avdiivka, Severne, Karlivka, Netaylove, and Pervomaiske in Donetsk.

On the Marinka direction, units of the Defense Forces repelled numerous attacks by the adversary near the city of Marinka. At the same time, populated areas such as Georgiyivka and Victory in Donetsk Oblast were affected by enemy shelling.

On the Shakhtarsk direction, no enemy offensive actions have been recorded. The occupiers shelled Vodyane, Ugledar, Prechystyvka, and Zolotaya Niva in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to defend. Meanwhile, they shelled Burlyatske, Vylene Pole, Novosilky, Novopyl of Donetsk Oblast; Olhyvskoye,  Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychnye, Hulyaypilske, Charyvne, Bihor'ya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Mali Shcherbaki, Kam'yanske of Zaporizhzhya Oblast; Nikopol — Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Zolotaya Balka, Antonivka, and the city of Kherson. Carried out air strikes on populated areas Veselye and Kozatske in Kherson Oblast.

Russian occupiers are conducting evacuation of local residents from temporarily occupied Enerhodar in Zaporizhzhya Oblast towards the settlements Berdyansk and Primorsk, to local rest bases. Evacuation includes people who have Russian passports. First of all, those who agreed to Russian citizenship during the early months of occupation.

To provide medical assistance to their wounded military personnel, Russian occupiers continue to use infrastructure in temporarily occupied populated areas. Recently, in one village of Starobilsk Raion, Luhansk Oblast, invaders set up a field hospital where up to 70 people are being treated.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out seven strikes during the past day on enemy personnel and military equipment concentration areas, as well as an attack on an enemy air defense missile complex. During the past day, our defenders destroyed seven combat and eight reconnaissance UAVs. Units of rocket forces and artillery inflicted damage to a command post, three ammunition and military equipment storage areas, and an artillery unit at a firing position.
