Twenty teams qualified for the playoff based on the results of the play-in rounds and online qualifiers within the European zone of competition, divided into three pots according to their previous performances.

The Ukraine team, finishing second in Group B during the online qualifier and beating Belgium in the upper bracket matches, landed in the second pot before the draw.

Based on the results of the draw, Ukraine's team was placed in Group A. The opponents of Ukrainian esports football players at this stage of the tournament will be teams from Israel, Italy, Norway, and Bulgaria.

The matchups within the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 playoff qualification round will take place on May 18-21. The blue-and-yellow team will play two matches against each opponent in a 2vs2 format using the FIFA 23 simulator on PS5.

If Ukraine's team secures one of the top four spots, it will advance to the upper bracket playoff. To qualify for the final stage of the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023, our boys need to win a series against one of the teams from the top-4 other groups. In case of defeat, the national team will have an opportunity to continue competing in the lower bracket playoff.

As a reminder, eleven of Europe's best teams that successfully advance through the playoff qualifiers will participate in the world championship of electronic football.
