The day before Easter, representatives of the Ukrainian Football Association visited one of the military hospitals in Kyiv where wounded soldiers are being treated.

President of the UAF and UEFA Executive Committee member Andriy Pavelko, first vice-presidents of the UAF Anatoliy Demianenko, Oleksiy Mykhaylichenko, Oleg Protasov, and Vadym Kostyuchenko met with soldiers, wished them a speedy recovery, and presented Ukrainian defenders with traditional Easter paska breads, sports outfits, national team jerseys signed by players, and other gifts.

In addition, the leaders of the UAF invited soldiers to participate in social projects aimed at helping with rehabilitation after their hospital stay. We remind you that such programs have been implemented since 2014 in close cooperation with military hospitals and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

After visiting the wounded soldiers, Andriy Pavelko noted: "The severe injuries sustained by our soldiers vividly illustrate the pain and trials they have endured and continue to endure during treatment and rehabilitation. They come from different units, branches of the Armed Forces, and various regions of the country, but all of them are a blend of steel, courage, and faith in Ukraine's victory. Their energy and spirit inspire! But their support is crucial and very necessary: for those who continue to liberate our land from Russian invaders, and for those recovering from injuries. We will continue this every day, together and individually!"
