To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 15, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred sixteenth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

The Russian Federation continues to ignore international humanitarian law, striking not only at the positions of our troops but also at civilian infrastructure in populated areas.

During the past day, the enemy carried out nine aerial and 19 missile strikes, 13 of them — from S-300 air defense systems on the peaceful cities of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. The enemy also conducted 42 artillery strikes against our positions and civilian infrastructure in populated areas. There are casualties among civilians, multi-story and private residential buildings as well as other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed or damaged.

The likelihood of missile and aerial attacks on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol directions. The fiercest battles are ongoing for Bakhmut and Mariupol. During the past day, 56 attacks by the enemy were repelled.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern, and Slobozhansky directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly; no signs of forming offensive groups have been detected. Some units of territorial forces of the Russian Federation's armed forces remain in Belarusian territory. A comprehensive check of combat readiness of the military forces of the Republic of Belarus is ongoing.

The enemy maintains a military presence in border areas with Ukraine in Kursk and Belgorod regions.

During the past day, the enemy shelled populated areas in Halyanyivka, Chernihiv region; Studenok, Rivne, Yskryskyshchyna, Volvynne, Sumy region, as well as Kozacha Lopan', Tokaryvka, Mali Prohody, Strilecha, Lukiancy, Neskyuchne, Staritsya, Vovchan'sk, Nesterne, and Zemlyanka in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk direction, enemy shelling affected Stroyivka, Dvorychans'ke, Krasne Pervye, Novomlyn'sk, Dvorycha, Zapadne, Liman Perevyshche, Kindrashyvka, Masutyvka, Tabayivka, and Berestove in Kharkiv region.

On the Lyman direction, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near populated areas of Dibrova and Bilohorivka. Artillery shelling affected Novosel'ivske, Steyl'makhivka, Nevs'ke, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, as well as Torske, Dibrova, and Spirne in Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions. Fierce battles are ongoing for the city of Bakhmut. Civilian casualties were reported in Vasukivka, Orikhovo-Vasyl'ivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Bogdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasyv Yar, Stupochki, Dil'yevka, Toretsk, and New York in Donetsk region.

On the Avdiyivka direction, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Novokalynovo and Pereymay'ske in Donetsk region. Shelling affected Novokalynove, Avdiyivka, Pereymays'ke, and Karlivka.

On the Mariupol direction, during the past day, our defenders repelled numerous enemy attacks near populated area of Mariupol in Donetsk region. Enemy shelling affected Pobedy and Novomikhaylivka.

On the Shakhtarsk direction, during the past day, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. Shelling affected Bohoyavlenka, Shakhtyrske, Novoukrayinka, Velyka Novosilka, Neskyuchne, Zolotaya Niva, and Volhedar in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions. During the past day, it shelled over 40 populated areas near the line of contact. Among them — Vremivka and Novopil in Luhansk region; Olhyvyske, Maliyinovka, Chervone, Hulyaypole, Charivne, Mala Tokmacha, Orykhiv in Zaporizhzhya region; Zolotaya Balka, Novoberezhal'sk, Kozats'ke, Burgunka, Ivanivka, Mikil'ske, Antonivka, Bilyzherka, Dniprovske in Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

Russian invaders continue to commit looting on temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. In particular, cases of oil being poured from electrical transformers have been noted in Novokakhovskiy district of Kherson region, which subsequently leads to power outages on individual streets of the area's populated areas.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces carried out five strikes against enemy personnel concentration and military equipment locations during the past day.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery hit one command point, three enemy manpower concentration areas, weapons and military equipment locations, as well as one enemy radio-electronic warfare station.
