The Ukrainian women's national team continues its first training camp of the year, which began on April 3 in the Polish town of Suwałki.

The first days the girls spent two training sessions a day, now they have switched to a single session schedule, combining field work with theoretical lessons, during which head coach Luis Cortés pays significant attention to tactics and set pieces.

Fortunately, the cold weather with snow has passed, it has warmed up considerably, and temperatures are expected to reach 15 degrees over the weekend, so there are all conditions for effective preparation.

On April 9, the team will travel to Estonia for a friendly match. The game between Estonia and Ukraine will take place with the support of the Estonian Football Association on April 11 in Tallinn at the local stadium "Sportland Arena" (kick-off at 7 PM) and will be the first match of the blue-and-yellow team during their preparation for official League of Nations games.

By the way, the match between the national teams of Estonia and Ukraine will be the third in their history. In 2012, they met during a European Championship qualifier—both times the Ukrainians won (5-0 and 4-1).

We remind you that the draw for the first Women's League of Nations will take place on May 2. The composition of leagues and rankings before the draw will be determined by the current UEFA national women's team ranking. Currently, Ukraine is ranked 22nd in the registry, which predicts their entry into League C.

In 2023 for participants of the League of Nations, six game windows are planned: September 20-22 and 23-26, October 25-27 and 28-31, November 29—December 1, and December 2-5.
