To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 1, 2023, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and second day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our country has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out five missile strikes and sixteen air raids, conducted 39 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers.

On March 31, the Russian Federation launched another missile strike on civilian objects using ballistic missiles.

For air raids, the enemy also used six combat drones of the "Shahed-136" type. However, all of them were destroyed by our defenders.

The likelihood of further missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains quite high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on conducting offensive operations on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol axes. During the past day, thanks to organized and coordinated actions by units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, as well as the personal courage of each defender, 70 attacks by the enemy were repelled on these axes. The most intense battles are ongoing for populated areas such as Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol.

On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhanskyi fronts, the operational situation — no significant changes.

The higher political leadership of the Republic of Belarus continues to support Russian aggression, providing airspace and territory for the enemy. On Belarusian training grounds, units of territorial forces of the Russian Federation's armed forces are being prepared. At the same time, signs of forming offensive groupings by the enemy have not been detected. The adversary still maintains a military presence in border areas of Kursk and Belgorod regions.

During the past day, the enemy shelled populated areas such as Baranivka in Chernihiv region; Katerynivka, Sosnovka, Starikove, Volvino, Kindratiivka, Novomikhailivka, Myropillya, Popivka and Oleksandrivka in Sumy region, as well as populated areas of Veterinaryne, Hoptivka, Strilecha, Hlibokye, Neskuchne, Bochkove and Budarki on the Kharkivshchyna.

On the Kupyansk front, enemy shelling affected populated areas near the line of battle contact: Kamianka, Figolivka, Masutyvka, Synkivka, Krokhmalne in Kharkiv region and Novoselivske on Luhanshchyna.

On the Lyman front, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near populated areas of Makieivka, Krymna, Chervonopopivka, Dibrova, Bilohorivka and in the vicinity of Seredynskyi Forest. Artillery shelling affected Nvesne, Chervonopopivka, Dibrova, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, as well as Spirene — Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut front, the enemy does not stop storming the city of Bakhmut and trying to take it under full control. During the past day, our defenders repelled attacks by the enemy in the areas of populated places Bogdanivka and Ivanivske. From enemy shelling suffered Vasylkivka, Orhihovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Ozaranyvka and Mayorshchyna in Donetsk region.

On the Avdiivka and Mariupol fronts, during the past day, the enemy conducted offensive operations near populated areas of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Pervomaisk and Mariupol in Donetsk region. Only around Mariupol on the previous day, military servicemen of the Defense Forces repelled close to 20 enemy attacks. At the same time, the enemy shelled populated places Stepove, Tonienke, Severne, Mariupol and Novomykhailivka.

On the Shakhtarsk front, during the past day, the enemy actively used drones to correct artillery fire, carried out shelling of populated places Vodyane, Vuhledar, Velika Novosilka, Krasnogorivka and Novosilka in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, during the past day, the enemy did not conduct active operations, improved defensive lines and positions. Carried out shelling of populated places. Among them — Vremivka, Novosilka in Donetsk region; Olhyvskyi, Hulyaypole, Charyvne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orhihiv, Mali Shcherbaky and Stepnogirsk Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Kherson.

After effective fire strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment in Troitskyi district of Luhansk region, occupiers have strengthened counter-reconnaissance mode. Local residents are being checked; mobile communication is disconnected in some populated places.

Continued cases of using civilian infrastructure and private property for their own purposes by the invaders are being recorded. In particular, in some populated places of Shastinskyi district of Luhansk region, people have been evacuated from their homes to quarter military personnel of Russian occupation forces.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 10 strikes against areas of concentration of occupiers during the past day. Units also damaged nine areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment, ammunition depots, two anti-aircraft missile systems, an artillery unit on a firing position, as well as a radio-electronic warfare station.

Overall, during the past day our defenders liquidated 630 Russian invaders, destroyed one tank, four armored combat vehicles, eight artillery systems, one MLRS, one air defense system, seven cars and two units of special equipment.
