Note to Your Attention — Operational Information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on March 24, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred ninety-fourth day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

During the past day, Russian occupiers carried out 37 air strikes and four missile attacks, one of which was on Kramatorsk. Additionally, the enemy conducted 82 artillery strikes with multiple rocket launchers.

The likelihood of missile strikes remains quite high across all of Ukraine's territory.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations along the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mariupol and Shakhtarsk directions. Thanks to professional and coordinated actions, our defenders repelled more than 79 attacks by the enemy.

On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhansky directions, the operational situation — without significant changes. The Russian Federation continues to maintain a military presence on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. However, no formations for offensive operations have been noted. At the same time, the enemy continued to deploy engineering equipment in border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions. The enemy shelled more than 20 populated areas with mortars and artillery, including Timonovichi in Chernihiv region; Zaruzychne and Popivka in Sumy region, as well as Morozova Dolyna, Strilecha, Hlibokye, Krassne, Terneva, Staritsya, Zemlyanka, Kreidyanke, Vilkuvatka, Shevchynivka, Ambarne and Bologivka in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, during the previous day, the enemy shelled with artillery areas of Grynykivky, Kupiansk, Krokhmalnoye, Tabayevka and Terny in Kharkiv region; Novoselyvskoye, Steblakhivka, Makieyivka, Nevsky, Pischevoye and Bihorivka in Luhansk region, as well as Grygoriyivka, Verkhnyokamyansky and Sporny Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut direction, the enemy did not stop storming Bakhmut. The most intense battles took place in this city during the past day on the specified direction. Also, attacks by the enemy were repelled in the areas of populated places Orilhovo-Vasylivka, Bogdanivka and Predtechina Donetsk region. The enemy shelled Vasylkivka, Minkivka, Orilhovo-Vasylivka, Grygoriyivka, Bogdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Predtechina, Zalizne, Pivnichne and New York in Donetsk region. In total, over 15 populated places were affected by these criminal actions of the occupiers.

On the Avdiyivka, Mariupol and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations towards populated places Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Stebne, Avdiivka, Severne, Pervomaiske, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region. Intensive enemy shelling was experienced by, among others, Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Stebne, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Netaylove, Lastovchyne, Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Mariinka, Vuhledar, Velika Novosyilka, Orlyvka, Novomykhailivka and Prechystivka Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to defend. At the same time, it carried out intensive shelling, including Olhivske, Malynivka, Chervonoye, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychny, Charivne, Bihorja, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orykhovo, Novoandriyivka, Stebne and Kamiansky in Zaporizhzhya region; Chervonoye Mayak, Berislaw, Lvoviv, Novotyagynka, Antonivka and the city of Kherson.

Due to significant losses that occupiers suffer daily, the enemy has decided to increase the number of hospital beds in existing hospitals operating on temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region. In particular, in populated place Troitske, the number of beds in a military hospital was doubled — from 200 to 400. At the same time, all wounded officers were evacuated by helicopters to the territory of the Russian Federation during the period from March 17-18.

An increase in mortality among injured conscripts is noted for the period from March 17-21 due to an increase in cases of severe injuries and poor medical care, including — due to insufficiently professional medical personnel.

Ukrainian aviation carried out 12 strikes on areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment during the past day. Also, our defenders shot down two guided air-to-surface missiles Kh-59 and four drones of various types.

Subunits of rocket forces and artillery simultaneously struck a command post, an area of concentration of live forces, weapons and military equipment of the enemy, a ZRK complex and two ammunition depots.

In total during the past day our defenders liquidated 1020 Russian occupiers, destroyed four tanks, 23 armored combat vehicles, eight artillery systems, three anti-aircraft defense means, five drones of operational-tactical level, two missiles, twelve cars and four units of special equipment.
