The opening qualifier match for Ukraine's Euro 2024 team against England, which will take place today, March 26, at Wembley Stadium in London (kickoff at 19:00 Kyiv time), will be the ninth encounter between these rivals in history.

Unfortunately, our team cannot boast of a particularly successful record against England: five matches ended with victories for the British side, once it was Ukraine's day to celebrate, and two games finished in draws.

In eight matches, the blue-and-yellow team scored only three goals, which were netted by Andriy Shevchenko, Serhiy Nazarenko, and Yevhen Konoplyanka, who is still part of the current squad.
