Note to the attention of - operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on March 21, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and ninety-first day of the full-scale Russian invasion has begun.

During the day, the enemy carried out 21 air strikes and nine missile attacks. One of them was on the city of Sloviansk. There were no civilian casualties. Another missile strike hit Kramatorsk, targeting an object of civil infrastructure. Seven multi-story buildings and three private cars were damaged. Fortunately, there were no civilian casualties. The enemy also carried out 57 strikes with multiple rocket launchers.

The probability of missile attacks on the entire territory of Ukraine remains quite high.

The main goal of the enemy over the past day remained attempts to break through into the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. For this, the occupiers concentrated their main efforts in conducting offensive operations along the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions. Thanks to professional and coordinated actions, our defenders repelled more than 120 attacks by the enemy on these fronts.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern, and Slobozhansky directions, the operational situation remains unchanged. The Russian Federation continues to maintain a significant military presence in the territory of the Republic of Belarus without forming obvious offensive groups. At the same time, the enemy is continuing engineering equipment of locations in border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions. During the day, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery strikes on the territories of 26 populated places, including Seredina-Buda, Sopich, Starikove, Atniske, Kostenkinivka, Kindratyvka, Volfinne, Oleksandrivka, Popivka, Studenok, and Turia in Sumy region; Kamianets-Sloboda and Khrynyvka in Chernihiv region, as well as Hlibove, Morykhovets, Vovchanskyi, Zemlyanka, Krasne Pereche, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kamianka, Krasne, Novomlynivske, Strilecha and Chuguyevka in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to break through our troops' defense, carrying out artillery strikes on the territories of 11 populated places along the line of contact. Among those affected were the areas of Kupiansk, Khromykhmalivka, and Berezhovo in Kharkiv region; Novoselyanske, Pishchane, Bihorivka, and Dibrovy on Luhansk territory, as well as Spirene, Torshcha and Novoselivka in Donetsk region. The enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Novoselivske.

On the Bakhmut direction, the occupiers do not stop storming the city of Bakhmut. At the same time, our soldiers repelled attacks by the enemy in the areas of populated places Bogdanivka, Ivanivske, Predtekhine and Pivnichne. Minkivka, Vasyukivka, Zaliznyanske, Bakhmut, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Dilievka, New York, Orhovo-Vasilivka, Privillya and Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region were shelled. In total, 12 populated places on the Bakhmut direction suffered from enemy fire.

On the Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to advance towards populated places of Berdychi, Avdiivka, Severne, Pervomaiske, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region. Numerous enemy shelling affected the areas of 17 populated places. Among these are Novobakhmutyvka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Lastochkine, Krasnogorivka, Hore, Georgiyivka, Marinka, Vuhledar, Velika Novosilka, Orlyvka and Tonentse in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to defend. Intensively shelling, among others, Olhyvske, Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Bihorija, Orhiy and Charyvne in Zaporizhzhya region; Vremyivka, Novopil and Pervomaiske - Donetsk region, as well as Dudchany, Kozatske, Blagoveshchenskoye, Dniprovskoye, Bilyzere, Beregove, Chervoniy Mayak and Yantarnye in Kherson region. The total number of shelled populated places is 41.

Continuing to suffer enormous losses, Russian aggressors are equipping more and more hospitals along the line of contact. Thus, in the populated place Rozivka temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhya region, one of such facilities of the occupiers was set up in a local clinic building. Over the past day, about 50 seriously wounded soldiers of the Russian army were brought there. Also in the village of Vysokoye of Zaporizhzhya region, the enemy equipped a hospital in a local school building. On March 19th, a large number of seriously injured were transported there. For this purpose, the enemy used four medical cargo vehicles based on KamAZ trucks.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 12 strikes during the day against areas where personnel and military equipment of the occupiers are concentrated, while rocket units and artillery divisions hit three areas with live forces of the enemy.

In total over the past day, our defenders liquidated 960 Russian aggressors, destroyed 15 tanks, 10 armored combat vehicles, nine artillery systems, seven operational-tactical UAVs, 12 vehicles and one unit of special equipment.
