For a place in the final stage of Euro-2023 (U-19), Ukraine will compete against teams from Luxembourg, Denmark, and Spain.

On March 19, the Ukraine U-19 national team (players born in or after 2004) will begin a training camp ahead of matches in the elite round of qualification for Euro 2023. In Spain, the blue and yellow team will face tournament hosts as well as teams from Luxembourg and Denmark. The games will take place at Francisco de la Hera Stadium in Almería and Estadio Municipal Villanovense in Badajoz. Head coach Sergei Nagornyak has called up 20 players for this camp.
Goalkeepers: Yuri-Vladimir Gereta ("Rukh" Lviv), Denis Barchenko ("Shakhtar" Donetsk).
Defenders: Andriy Buliza ("Minaï"), Oleksandr Rosputynko ("Shakhtar" Donetsk), Artem Benedyk ("Dynamo" Kyiv), Vitaliy Khodok, Bohdan Slubik, Andriy Kitel (all - "Rukh" Lviv), Danylo Udod ("Al-Ain", UAE).

In the elite round, 28 participants will compete for spots at the final stage, which will take place from July 3 to July 16 of this year on Malta. Seven group winners will advance.
At this qualification stage in March, 27 teams that passed the first round and Portugal, who received a direct entry into the elite round as leaders of the corresponding age ranking, will compete.
Group 1: France, Romania, Norway, Northern Ireland.
Group 2: Germany, Slovenia, Belgium, Italy.
Group 3: Ukraine, Spain, Denmark, Luxembourg.
Group 4: Portugal, Croatia, Czech Republic, Sweden.
Group 5: Ireland, Greece, Estonia, Slovakia.
Group 6: Serbia, Poland, Israel, Latvia.
Group 7: England, Turkey, Iceland, Hungary.
As a reminder, in the qualification round of Euro 2023 (U-19), Ukraine's youth team under Sergei Nagornyak's leadership finished with the maximum result at first place in their group.
