To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on March 15, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.
Glory to Ukraine! The 385th day of Russia's large-scale invasion is ongoing.
During the day, the enemy carried out 40 air strikes, 12 missile attacks, and more than 100 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers. One of the missile strikes hit the city of Kramatorsk — a three-story residential building was damaged, there are casualties among local residents. Another missile strike occurred in the city of Zatoka in Odesa Oblast — one of the buildings of the children's educational institution "Golden Fish" was damaged by fragments of the rocket. There are no casualties or losses among local residents. The enemy also carried out a missile attack on an object of civilian infrastructure in the village of Ivanivka, Kherson Oblast. There are injured among local residents and at least one private house has been damaged.
The likelihood of further missile strikes across all of Ukraine remains quite high.
The main goal of the enemy over the past day, as before, was to attempt to break through into the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. To this end, he concentrated his efforts on conducting offensive operations along the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mariupol, and Shakhtarsk directions. Thanks to professional and coordinated actions, our defenders repelled more than 90 enemy attacks in these areas.
On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhanskyi fronts, the operational situation has not changed significantly. The enemy maintains a military presence near Ukraine's state border but no formations for offensive operations have been detected. At the same time, the enemy continued to fortify positions in border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions. During the past day, the enemy shelled the areas of Archypivka, Mykhailychyna Sloboda, Kolos, and Yelino in Chernihiv Oblast; nine populated areas in Sumy Oblast — Ukrainka, Znoba-Novgorodskoye, Seredina-Buda, Romashkove, Bachivske, Starikove, Volfinne, Hrabovske, and Porozok, as well as 15 populated areas in Kharkiv Oblast. Among them — Kozatska Lopan', Granyv, Glibokie, Krasne, and Bologivka.
On the Kupyansk and Lyman fronts, the enemy maintains its military presence in border areas with Ukraine to prevent our units from redeploying to other directions. Also during the previous day, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to break through our defenses. The occupiers carried out artillery strikes on four populated areas along the line of contact in Kharkiv Oblast (Dvorichna, Gryanykivka, Masutyvka and Krykhmalne); seven populated areas in Luhansk Oblast — Novoselivske, Makieivka, Nevsko, Dibrova, Bihorivka, Zolotaryvka, and Chervonopopivka. Also under fire were Spirene and Fedorievka in Donetsk.
On the Bakhmut front, the enemy does not give up attempts to capture the city of Bakhmut, where constant positional battles are taking place. At the same time, our defenders repelled attacks by the enemy in the areas of populated places Yagidne, Khromove and Orikhovo-Vasylivka. Enemy shelling affected 15 populated areas in Donetsk Oblast near the line of contact. Among them — Nikiforivka, Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske and Kostiantynivka.
On the Avdiivka, Mariupol, and Shakhtarsk fronts, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations towards populated places Kamianka, Nevel'ske, Novokalynove, Severne, Pervomaiske, Novomykhailivka, Pobedy, and Vodyane in Donetsk Oblast. Enemy shelling affected areas of 16 populated areas in Donetsk Oblast: Berdychi, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Netaylove, Krasnogorove, Nevel'ske, Mariinka, Georgiyivka, Vuhledar, Paraskovyivka, Ocheretin, Orlyvka, Pobedy, Prechystive and Neskyuchne.
On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, the enemy carried out defensive operations. Shelling affected 17 populated areas in Zaporizhzhia Oblast near which combat operations are taking place. In particular, Olhivske, Hulyaypole, Bihorogirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka and Stepnogirsk. The area of Prymische in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Ochakiv — Mykolaiv Oblast, as well as 20 populated areas in Kherson Oblast were also affected by artillery fire. Among them — Zolota Balka, Mikhailivka, Kachkarivka, Vesel'e, Ivanivka, Mikhilske, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Dniprovsk and Kherson.
In Gorlovka, which is located in temporarily occupied Donetsk Oblast, about 90 servicemen of the Russian army who are undergoing treatment at medical facilities in the city will soon be directed to the city of Uruzuf for VVK (military service suitability) examination. At the same time, occupiers in Gorlovka received orders regarding the conduct of a new wave of mobilization in the city to replenish units temporarily withdrawn from the zone of combat operations due to loss of combat readiness. It is planned to mobilize about 500 people from those categories who previously received exemption for limited or full disability.
The aviation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out nine strikes on areas where occupiers are concentrated, three strikes on locations of enemy air defense systems and three strikes — on other important targets of the occupiers.
Subunits of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage to three areas of enemy personnel concentration, three command posts of Russian army units and an unfolded position of enemy air defense systems.
Overall, during the past day our defenders liquidated 980 Russian invaders, destroyed eight tanks, ten armored combat vehicles, nine artillery systems, seven multiple rocket launchers, two air defense systems, twelve tactical drones, ten cars and one unit of special equipment.
Believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! We will win! Glory to Ukraine!
