Of the 11 Ukrainian players invited to join the national team for preparation ahead of the Euro-2024 qualifying match against England (March 26, London), six played for their clubs over the past weekend.
On Saturday, March 11, in the 27th round of the English Premier League, Mikhail Mudryk helped Chelsea secure a victory away from home against Leicester City (3:1). Our player made his debut with an assist for "The Blues." On the same day, Vitaliy Mykolenko contributed to Everton's home win over Brentford (1:0).
On Sunday, March 12, in the Premier League, Oleksandr Zinchenko's Arsenal won a London derby away from home against Fulham (3:1).
In the 27th round of France's Ligue 1, Ruslan Malinovskiy's Marseille drew at home with Strasbourg (2:2) against Eduard Sobol.
Finally, on Monday, March 13, in the 25th round of Spain's La Liga, Viktor Tsygankov's Girona lost at home to visitors from Madrid's Atlético (0:1).
