Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on March 2, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and seventieth day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

The main efforts of the enemy are focused on conducting offensive operations along the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk directions. Over the past day, our defenders repelled more than 170 attacks by the enemy in these sectors.

Overall, Russian occupiers launched 14 rocket strikes on civilian objects in Kharkiv, Poltava, and Donetsk regions. There are injured among the civilian population; residential high-rise buildings and private homes have been damaged. The aggressors also carried out 21 air raids, including targeting two "Shahed-136" drones. The attack drones were shot down. The enemy conducted 58 artillery strikes with multiple rocket launchers.

The level of threat from Russian occupiers launching missile attacks on the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhansky directions formations for offensive operations by the enemy have not been detected. During the day, the enemy shelled populated areas in Yelene and Baranivka of Chernihiv region; Rozhkovychi, Starikove, Hryki, Atinske, Stukalivka, Budky, Volvynne, Turia, Hrabovske of Sumy region, and Chervona Zorya, Veterinarnoe, Strilecha, Krasnoe, Terneva, Ohrymovka, Potihonove, Dvoriche, and Kindrashivka of Kharkiv region. Used drones with combat payloads near Budarok in Kharkiv region.

In border areas of Belgorod region the enemy continues to install engineering equipment and anti-tank obstacles.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions the enemy conducted offensive operations in the vicinity of populated places Kreminna and Bihorivka in Luhansk region, and Spirene in Donetsk region. He was unsuccessful. Conducted artillery strikes on areas around Masutivka, Lyman First, Kupiansk, Kislivka in Kharkiv region; Kuzemivka, Makieyivka, Kreminna, Bihorivka, Dibrova in Luhansk region, and Zvanivka in Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut direction the enemy continues to advance. He is storming the city of Bakhmut. Our defenders repelled attacks around populated places Orilhovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, and Ivanivske. Enemy shelling was experienced by Bondarne, Zaliznyanske, Orilhovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klyshchyivka, Chasiv Yar, and New York in Donetsk region.

On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations towards populated places Kamianka, Severne, Vodyane, Nevelske, and Mariinka. He shelled areas around Avdiivka, Lastochkine, Berdychi, Vodyane, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka, Georgiyevka, Bogoyavlenska, Velika Novosilka, and Nesukhne in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions the enemy is defending. He attempts to create conditions for transitioning into an offensive on certain sectors. Conducted artillery strikes on over 45 areas around populated places. Among them — Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriyivka in Zaporizhzhya region, as well as Dobrovid, Nikopol, Zmiyevka, Kozatske, Novosilka, Inzhenerne, Bilozerka, Dniprovskane, and the city of Kherson.

Our aviation carried out 16 strikes on areas where enemy personnel and military equipment are concentrated over the past day. Our defenders also shot down an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle of the "Orlan-10" type. Subunits of rocket forces and artillery hit one area where the enemy is concentrated, two ammunition depots, and three other important targets.
